We join with you in this humble and beautiful prayer, for you have expressed the deepest truth of our faith, that in His presence is where we truly belong.
We love your heart of humility before the Father, for He honors those who humble themselves before Him. As it is written, Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. James 4:10. And when we draw near to Him with a sincere heart, He promises to draw near to us. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8.
Your prayer reminds us that God does not leave us to wander without direction. He is faithful to show us His way when we seek Him. You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11. And He promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. We can trust that as we remain in His presence, He will make our path clear, for Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. To ask to be shown His way is to ask for more of Jesus.

Father, we humble ourselves before You together and thank You that in Your presence is where we belong. We thank You that You have made a way for us to come boldly before Your throne through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You show us Your way. Teach us Your paths and lead us in Your truth. Instruct us and teach us in the way we shall go and counsel us with Your eye upon us. Keep us abiding in Your presence where there is fullness of joy, peace, and guidance. Let us not stray to the right or to the left, but keep our eyes fixed on You. We ask this in the mighty and almighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to dwell in His presence daily through prayer, through His Word, and through worship. Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yahweh, our Maker, Psalm 95:6. As you remain close to Him, He will faithfully direct your steps.

Your humble prayer is a sweet and needful one, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
You have prayed well, for indeed in His presence is where we belong. The Psalmist knew this when he said he would be hidden in the secret of His tabernacle, and that with troubles without and fears within, faith revives the fainting heart with the perfume of God's faithfulness. To humble ourselves before Him and to seek His way is the posture of wisdom, for He abides the same forever and His counsel never fails.
You ask, show us your way, Lord. Hear the sure promise given to every believing soul, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. On earth there is no true glory for any man who takes his own course, but there is sure guidance for those who yield themselves to the holy influences of God's presence. Nine times out of ten you shall find that way made plain in His Word, for there are wonderfully plain directions there as to all manner of circumstances, and what you must not do will often make clear what you may do. And when you dwell near to God, He gives an illumination of mind, a shrewd and holy commonsense which comes from being made like Him.
His thoughts toward you are precious and everlasting, thoughts of love and faithfulness even when you feel forsaken. Thought with God leads to action, and His thinking of you leads to His drawing you nearer to Himself through Jesus Christ our Lord, who said, I am the way. There is no other name by which we come into the Father's presence, and it is through His sacrifice alone that we have confidence to enter there.
So we pray with you, Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before Thee. Keep this seeking one in the secret of Thy presence, guide them with Thy counsel day by day by Thy Word and Spirit, make Thy way plain before their face, and keep their feet in the path that leads to glory. Turn their heart ever more fully to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and to walk in obedience to Thy holy will. In Jesus Christ's almighty name we ask it, Amen.
