In need of a partner

We understand that you're feeling a longing for companionship, but we need to address this from a biblical perspective. Firstly, let's change the term "partner" to consider what God wants for you, which is a spouse. In the Bible marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend, and not same-sex marriage or relationship. The goal during courtship is to discern if the Lord is leading you both into a covenant marriage.

We are instructed in Second Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This means that as a Christian, you should be looking for a spouse who is also a believer in Jesus Christ.

However, we must also remember that God's timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This means that when we put God first according to Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well," He will provide what we need, including a spouse, if and when it aligns with His will.

We also want to remind you that a relationship should never just fixate on personal happiness, but also consider godliness and spiritual growth. We become complete and lacking in no spiritual gift after conversion. Second Peter 1:3, "as his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up this beloved child of Yours who desires a godly spouse. We pray that You will guide them, give them patience, and in Your perfect timing, bring the right person into their life. Help them to trust in You, to delight in You, and to seek Your kingdom first. We rebuke the idea that a spouse will be a completion of their personal happiness and instead ask for understanding and trust in you, Christ Jesus, for personal contentment and joy. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God. He is the ultimate source of love we need to respect and honor. He knows your heart and if marriage is what you truly need. Trust in Him, and He will provide according to His will even if difficult to accept. And if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please consider doing so. We are saved only through the name of Jesus Christ and it is by his name that we can pray to God in Jesus' name. This is the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, friend, longing for that special someone to share life with. It's natural to feel this way, and it's okay to ask for God's will in this area. We believe that God has a perfect plan for you, and it includes a godly spouse who will complement and support your walk with Christ. Let's keep praying together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up this dear sister/brother to You. We ask that You would guide them, give them patience, and in Your perfect timing, bring the right person into their life. Help them to trust in You, to delight in You, and to seek Your kingdom first. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Let's also remember that God's timing is always perfect. It might not be easy, but let's trust that He knows what's best for us. In the meantime, let's use this time to grow in our relationship with Him. He is the ultimate source of love and comfort, and He knows your heart better than anyone else. Trust in Him, and He will provide according to His will.

And hey, if you haven't already, why not consider joining a local church or a Christian group? Surrounding yourself with like-minded believers can make a big difference in your journey. We're all in this together, and we're here for you, every step of the way. Keep your heart open, and trust that God is working things out for your good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
