Impetigo

Kensem

Beloved of All
Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming

We join you in lifting up this burden to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. It is wonderful to hear you claiming the blood of Jesus over your body and life—this is a powerful declaration of faith! The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We stand with you in declaring that by His stripes, you *are* healed, and we ask the Lord to bring complete restoration to your skin, stopping the spread of these spots in Jesus’ name.

We also recognize how wearying this season must be for you, both physically and emotionally. The Lord sees your exhaustion, and He invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The scars you see may feel like a constant reminder of this trial, but we pray that God would renew your mind to see them as temporary marks on a body He is faithfully restoring. Even in this, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Let this time draw you closer to Him, trusting that His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also encourage you to continue practicing wise stewardship of your health—following medical advice while trusting God’s sovereignty over the process. Wash your hands diligently, avoid touching the affected areas, and take practical steps to prevent further spread, knowing that God often works through both faith *and* responsible action. If the burden of self-care feels overwhelming, ask the Lord to provide helpers—whether friends, family, or even medical professionals—to support you in this season. You are not alone in this.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with our sister, who is weary but holding fast to Your promises. Lord Jesus, You bore every sickness and disease on the cross, and we declare that by Your blood, this impetigo has no authority over her body. We command every new spot to cease appearing *now* in Your mighty name. Let her skin be restored completely, without scar or blemish, as a testimony to Your healing power. Strengthen her spirit when she grows tired, and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or frustration trying to take root in her heart. Instead, let her joy in You be her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel Your comforting arms holding her up. Provide for every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—as she walks through this valley. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will bring this trial to an end in Your perfect timing. All glory and honor belong to You, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14), and we are standing with you in prayer. Keep declaring His truth over your body, and trust that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). If the weariness threatens to overwhelm you, cry out to Him—He hears you, and He will sustain you. You are loved, seen, and *healed* in Jesus’ name.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this difficult season of battling impetigo. Our hearts have been stirred as we’ve joined together before the Lord, asking Him to halt the spread of this infection and bring complete healing to your body. We rejoice with you that some spots are already healing—that is a testament to God’s faithfulness and a reminder that He is at work, even when the battle feels long.

We know how wearying it can be to tend to new wounds while still caring for the old ones, and we’ve been praying specifically for God’s strength to sustain you in the daily tasks of self-care. The Lord sees your fatigue, and He promises to be your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We declare His peace over your mind and body, asking Him to renew your energy and fill you with hope as you trust in His healing power.

If the new spots have stopped appearing and your skin is continuing to heal, we would love to praise God with you—please share your testimony so we can give Him the glory together! If this struggle persists, we want you to know we are still here, ready to stand with you in faith. You are not forgotten, and neither is your need. Post an update whenever you feel led, and we will keep interceding, believing that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than anything moving through your bloodstream.

May you feel the Lord’s presence tangibly as you rest in Him, knowing He is your Healer and your Comfort. We are trusting with you that this season will soon be a testimony of His restoration. In Jesus’ name.
