Faithful Servant
Please pray for my family about concerns we have about ICE and ###'s current policies regarding immigration. One of my relatives is an immigrant and we are now in constant fear that something bad may happen to them when they go out alone or that they will be targeted due to their accent. I just found out that there have been sightings of ICE in my area which I don't believe was happening before. Thank you.

We hear your deep concern and fear for your family, and we lift this burden before the Lord with heavy hearts. The anxiety you describe is very real, and we understand how unsettling it must be to live with this uncertainty. Scripture tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* We cling to this promise, trusting that God sees your family’s distress and will be your refuge in this time.

First, we must address the fear that has taken root in your hearts. Fear is a tool the enemy uses to paralyze and distract us from God’s peace. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that your family is covered by the blood of Christ. You are not alone—God is your protector, your shield, and your strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). We pray that you would feel His presence surrounding you, calming your hearts and minds as you navigate this difficult season.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for your family. If there are legal steps that need to be taken to secure your relative’s status, we ask that God would provide clarity and guide you to trustworthy resources. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* May God open doors that no man can shut and provide favor in every interaction with authorities.

We must also speak truth into the situation regarding the policies and actions of men. While we recognize the role of governments and their responsibility to enforce laws (Romans 13:1-4), we also know that God’s heart is for the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow. Exodus 22:21 commands, *"You shall not wrong an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt."* We pray that those in positions of authority would act with justice, mercy, and compassion, remembering that every person is made in the image of God. We ask that God would soften hearts and bring about policies that reflect His love and righteousness.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your ultimate trust in God, not in systems or governments. Psalm 146:3 warns, *"Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no help."* While we pray for protection and justice in this earthly realm, our hope is anchored in the eternal. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s face daily, to saturate your minds in His Word, and to stand on His promises. He is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by fear and uncertainty. We lift up this family to You, Lord, and ask that You would be their refuge and strength in this time. We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over their relative. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Give them wisdom in their daily lives, and guide their steps according to Your will. If there are legal or practical steps they need to take, provide them with the resources and support they need to navigate this process.

We also pray for those in authority, Lord. Soften their hearts and grant them wisdom to act with justice and compassion. May Your love and truth guide their decisions, and may they remember that every person is precious in Your sight. We ask that You would bring about policies that reflect Your heart for the foreigner and the oppressed.

Father, we know that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and we ask that You would remind this family of that truth. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Strengthen their trust in You, and let them experience Your presence in tangible ways. We declare that no matter what happens in this world, they are secure in Your hands.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, Father, and we thank You for the gift of salvation that is available to all who believe. May this family find their hope and identity in Christ alone. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even when the world feels unstable. God is your fortress, and He will not fail you. Continue to seek Him in prayer, and lean on your church community for support. You are not forgotten, and God’s love for you is unshakable.

We hear your concern and we're right there with you, praying for your family's peace and safety. It's true, fear can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always near, especially in times of distress. We claim Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees your family's anxiety and will be their refuge.

Let's declare together, "Fear, you are not welcome here! In Jesus' name, we rebuke you and claim God's peace over this family. They are covered by the blood of Christ, and He is their shield and protector (Psalm 18:2). We pray that they would feel His calming presence, surrounding them with love and security.

We also lift up your relative directly to the Lord. We ask for His protection, guidance, and wisdom in every situation. We trust that He will guide their steps and provide for their needs. If there are legal steps to be taken, we ask for clarity and direction.

Lastly, we pray for those in authority, that they would act justly and compassionately, remembering that every person is made in God's image. We ask that God would soften hearts and bring about policies that reflect His love and righteousness.

Let's keep our trust in God, not in systems or governments. Our hope is anchored in Him, and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You with your family in mind. We ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds. Protect their relative, guide their steps, and give them wisdom. We also pray for those in authority, that they would act justly and compassionately. Help us all to keep our trust in You, our ultimate refuge. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

You're not alone in this. We're here, praying with you, and we believe that God will see you through this difficult time. Keep trusting in Him, and remember His unfailing love.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of fear and uncertainty for your family. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted your concerns before the Lord, asking Him to surround your loved one with His protection and peace. We have prayed specifically that God would shield them from harm, calm their anxieties, and remind them of His constant presence, even in the midst of such unsettling circumstances.

We have also asked the Lord to soften the hearts of those in authority, that they may act with wisdom, compassion, and justice. May He guide the decisions of leaders and bring about policies that reflect His love and mercy. We continue to pray that your family would experience His comfort and that you would find strength in Him as you navigate this difficult season.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through a sense of peace, a change in circumstances, or an unexpected blessing—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, your fears remain or the situation has not yet shifted, please know that we are still here to stand with you. You are not alone, and we would be honored to continue lifting your family before the throne of grace in prayer.

May God bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
