Immediate Prayers Please

In the name of our mighty Jesus Christ. Please pray with me. In between employment and just haven’t been able to find anything yet. Trying not to get weary about it all and staying in God’s Word. I had to take some money out of retirement plan. Please pray that check gets here early (said 5-7 business days from today) and that things all clear without issue with my bank so i can make October rent. Then i will not need to borrow or depend on anyone else but God and use my very hard earned money. I of course am thankful for any help people offer I just like to have peace about this and keep between me and God. I was able to apply for it and it was very smooth process and i know God directed me to do so because of the dreams I had recently. Thank you.

We join with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for sharing this burden so openly with us. We hear your heart to remain faithful while you are between employment, to stay in God's Word and not grow weary, and to provide for your October rent through the honest provision God has allowed you to set aside. We commend you for seeking God first in this season and we stand with you for His peace and provision.

We are encouraged that you are staying in the Word, for that is where our strength and direction come from. Scripture reminds us, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. And also, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Your desire to trust God alone is beautiful, and we know He honors that trust. At the same time we gently remind you that God often provides through His people, and there is no shame in receiving help from the body of Christ when He chooses to provide that way. We are called to bear one another's burdens, and to receive with thanksgiving what He supplies. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.

We also hear your heart about the dreams and the smooth process for the retirement withdrawal. We thank God with you for open doors and for His guidance, and we encourage you to continue to test all leading by His Word, for His Word is our sure foundation. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that this provision clears without any hindrance and that God grants you wisdom as a steward of what He has entrusted to you, and we pray with you for open doors for employment in His perfect timing, that you may work heartily as for the Lord. Colossians 3:23.

We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of our mighty Jesus Christ, and we lift up our brother or sister to You. Lord, You see the need for employment and the waiting that feels long, and You see the need for October rent. We ask that You would let this check arrive early, even sooner than the 5 to 7 business days expected, and that You would cause every step with the bank to clear without issue, without delay or fee or error. Provide peace that surpasses understanding while waiting, and guard this heart from weariness and fear. Strengthen faith through Your Word each day and remind our dear one that You have not forsaken the righteous. I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Lord, open the right employment door, work that honors You and provides with dignity, and give wisdom to manage every dollar for Your glory. Let this season be a testimony that it was You alone who provided, and keep this dear one in perfect peace as they trust in You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our provider, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you in this in-between season. Looking for work while watching the calendar move toward rent is heavy, and we hear how much you want to handle this quietly and faithfully with what God has provided through your own hard work.

We are encouraged that you are staying in the Word even when weariness creeps in, and that the application process went smoothly. Waiting those 5 to 7 business days can feel long when October rent is on your mind.

One small step that has helped others in a similar waiting period is to get clear information ahead of time. If you have a tracking number from the retirement plan, you can watch for its delivery date, and a quick call to your bank can tell you how they handle holds on that kind of check so there are no surprises when you deposit it. Knowing the timing can bring some peace while you wait and help you plan.

We are praying for you as you continue the job search as well. Your worth is not measured by employment status, and God sees your diligence.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. We ask for Your peace over this waiting time, for the check to arrive and clear without issue in time for October rent, and for wisdom and open doors for work in the weeks ahead. Provide and guide as only You can. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace to which we have bold access through the rent veil of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has rent the veil and it shall never be mended, so that at all times you may have boldness to enter in, and we come with you now.

We have heard your care in this season between employments, and the weariness which so naturally attends such waiting, and we thank God that you are staying in His Word. That is the right place to stand. As the Psalmist says, My soul, wait thou only upon God. Calvin renders it, be thou silent before God, rest calm and undisturbed. There is a singular patience in our God, for He waiteth to be gracious unto His people, and His heart yearns toward them with long forbearance. When we have come to the end of our own strength, we find Him lovingly waiting, graciously waiting, ready to pardon and to provide.

You have asked for prayer concerning the provision from your retirement, that the check would come within the five to seven business days appointed and that it would clear without hindrance at the bank, so that your October rent may be met and you may be kept from borrowing and from dependence upon any but the Lord. We have carried this very matter to Him who sits at the helm of Providence, and who when the vessel is almost upon the rock can pilot it into deep waters again. We pray that the Lord in His good providence would hasten that which is needed, that no let or hindrance would befall the transfer, and that your rent would be supplied in due season, that you may know the blessed independency of the man who knows no dependence except upon God.

We also pray that He would keep you from weariness in well doing. Scripture says, Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and He shall strengthen thine heart, wait, I say, on the Lord. Waiting upon God sustains courage and renews strength, until we mount up with eagles wings. Your desire to use what your own hands have laboured for, and to keep this matter quietly between you and God, is comely, and we ask the Lord to grant you that peace which comes from waiting only upon Him, whose promise is that they that wait on the Lord shall not want any good thing. He will teach you His statutes as you declare your ways to Him, for He hears you when you speak to Him alone.

We thank God that the process has been smooth thus far, and we ask Him to perfect what He has begun, to open a door of employment in His time, and to keep your eye fixed upon Christ alone for salvation and for every daily mercy, for apart from Him there is no salvation and no true provision. May His Spirit come into your soul with mysterious strength, that though the way seems unstable as men upon the sea, your confidence may be in the God of your salvation, whose waiting is not in vain toward His chosen.

We pray all this in the name of our mighty Jesus Christ, who though forsaken once upon the cross that we might never be forsaken, now ever lives to make intercession for His people. Amen.
