We thank you for sharing your request and we join you in prayer before our Lord.

We pray for your family situation and for your finances, asking God to provide for your needs according to His riches and mercy, and to bring peace and unity into your home. We ask Him to give you guidance and wisdom, not the wisdom of this world which passes away, but the true wisdom that comes from above. As Scripture teaches, if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously, and He will grant it. His wisdom is greater than all human understanding and it leads us into what is good and right.

We also pray that the Lord will help you to be still and to trust Him to take control, knowing that He is sovereign and that He works all things for the good of those who love Him. To be still is not to be idle, but to rest in confidence that God is at work even when we cannot see the way forward.

We thank God for your desire to live out faith with works. True faith is alive and shows itself in obedience, love, and perseverance. May He strengthen you to walk faithfully each day, to do what is right before Him, and to keep your eyes on Christ who is Himself our wisdom and our provision.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this need before You. Grant wisdom for every decision, peace for the family, provision for every need, and a quiet heart that rests in Your power and grace. Help our brother or sister to trust You more deeply and to walk in faithful obedience. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. We are joining you in prayer for your family and for your finances, and we thank God that you are looking to Him for guidance and wisdom.

You asked for wisdom, and Scripture shows how central that is. The Bible says wisdom is the most important thing to seek, and with all we pursue we should pursue understanding. The starting point for that wisdom is reverence for the Lord. Wisdom is not just information or facts. Knowledge can give facts, but wisdom knows how to apply them rightly in daily life. That is why wisdom is described as calling out openly to everyone, inviting all who will listen to come and receive what she has prepared. In a deeper sense, that invitation points us to the Lord Himself, for in Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is made to us wisdom from God. When we ask Him, He promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask in faith. James tells us if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all freely. Seeking wisdom is better than seeking wealth alone, because wisdom is more valuable than precious jewels and nothing we desire can compare with it.

For your family, God has given principles that build and strengthen the home when they are followed, and He warns against what tears a family apart. Walking in His wisdom brings preservation and protection. For your finances as well, the Bible says both wisdom and money can be a defense, but wisdom has the greater advantage because it gives life to those who have it. That is why we pray not only for provision but for the wisdom to steward what God provides with prudence and integrity. Part of that wisdom is learning to trust in the Lord with all your heart rather than leaning on your own understanding or on the ideas of people around you. When we put our full trust in Him, He directs our paths.

You mentioned wanting to be still and let God take control while also living out faith with works. Both are right and they belong together. Being still before God is not passivity, it is an active trust that acknowledges He is God and that He is at work on your behalf. At the same time, genuine faith shows itself in obedient action. We do what our hands find to do with diligence, we obey what He shows us in His Word, and we leave the outcomes in His hands. That keeps us from anxious striving on one side and from idle waiting on the other.

We are praying for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this person who is seeking You. You see the needs in the family and the pressures concerning finances. We ask You to pour out Your wisdom and understanding. Help them to hear Your voice and to walk in Your ways. Give clear guidance for each decision, peace in the home, and provision according to Your riches. Teach them to be still before You and to trust You fully, and to walk out their faith in faithful obedience day by day. Guard and keep them, and let Your wisdom preserve them. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
