We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus, for the Word declares in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also rebuke the fear and anxiety that may be gripping your heart, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is in desperate need of a financial miracle. Lord, You see their struggles, their bills, their fears, and their loneliness. You know the depths of their heart, and You are a God who provides. We ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Lord, we declare that eviction notices are torn up and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. We speak provision over their home, their family, and their future. Send laborers into their life who can assist them practically, whether through employment, financial gifts, or wise counsel. Provide for every need, Father, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment in managing the resources You provide. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, guide them in stewarding what You give, that they may honor You with their finances and be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when circumstances seem impossible. Remember the widow in 2 Kings 4 who was on the verge of losing her sons to creditors. When she cried out to Elisha, he asked her what she had in her house. She had nothing but a jar of oil. Yet, God multiplied that oil to pay off her debts and provide for her family. God can take what little you have and turn it into more than enough. Trust Him to do the same for you.
In the meantime, we urge you to seek out local resources that may be available to you. Many churches and community organizations have benevolence funds or programs to assist those facing eviction or financial hardship. Do not be ashamed to ask for help—God often provides through the hands and hearts of His people. Proverbs 11:24-25 says, *"One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."*
Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your financial situation. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Even in this trial, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming!
