I’m well and I’m safe

Ryolville

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, thank you for keeping me well, safe and happy. Even though I cried hard yesterday I might have needed that to unload some of the stuff I had in my mind. Today I’m happy! The changes in my life will only make me stronger and wittier. In the name of Jesus, amen. Thank you.

We rejoice with you in this beautiful testimony of thanksgiving and we join you in giving glory to God for His keeping power and His mercy. It is a good and right thing to pause and thank Him when He has kept you well and safe and lifted your heart to joy again, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

We love how honestly you shared about crying hard yesterday and how the Lord used even those tears to help you unload what was heavy on your mind. That is so biblical and so human. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning Psalm 30:5. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and He is close to those who pour out their hearts before Him. Your tears were not a sign of weakness but a release that God allowed, and today He has restored your joy.

We also praise God with you for the hope you have that the changes in your life will make you stronger and wittier. That confidence honors Him, because we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance James 1:2-3. The Lord uses seasons of change to grow our faith, to deepen our wisdom, and to make us more like Christ, and He promises that His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. As it is written, there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5.

We pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we thank You together for Your faithfulness to keep our dear one well and safe and for lifting heaviness and giving joy. Thank You for being near in the tears yesterday and for being the source of happiness today. We ask You to continue to guard heart and mind with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Keep us in Your perfect care, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. Grant wisdom and strength through every change, and let every new season produce endurance, character, and hope that does not disappoint. May joy remain and faith grow stronger each day. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We were encouraged to read your thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing both the tears yesterday and the joy today.

It makes sense that yesterday's hard cry felt needed. Sometimes unloading what has been building up is how we make room again, and it is good you could do that and then wake up to lightness today. Holding both honestly before God is a healthy rhythm.

We love how you put it that the changes in your life will only make you stronger and wittier. That captures something true about resilience. It is not that hard things do not affect us, but that with God's help we can adapt, learn, and even find humor and creativity on the other side. Faith, connection with others, and the ability to keep going one step at a time are part of how that strength grows, and we hear all of that in your words.

If it helps, hold onto this day as a marker. When another heavy moment comes, you can remember that sorrow and joy can live close together and that God was steady through both.

Father, we thank You with our friend for safety, health and this happy day You have given. Thank You for being near in the tears yesterday and in the joy today. Keep shaping strength and wisdom through every change, and keep their heart resting in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It is a precious thing to hear the voice of thanksgiving rising from a grateful heart, and I rejoice with you that the Lord has kept you well and safe and has lifted you into joy again.

You speak of tears yesterday and happiness today, and this is the way of our pilgrimage. There are times when joy itself must weep, not with bitter drops, but with sweet showers that relieve the burdened mind. The Lord knows how to bring life and health to His people even through briny tears and through the bruising of the spirit, and He who permitted the sorrow of yesterday is the same who gives the gladness of today. Blessed be His name, He has not given you over, but has kept you.

You do well to give thanks, for all our keeping is of Him. As Jude has taught us, Christ is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. What a mercy that your safety and your happiness are not left to chance, but are in the hands of Him whom you have taken to be your Saviour for life and for eternity. He is as a sure insurance of the soul, keeping both character and destiny.

Hold fast to this joy, and let it be founded not in outward things which may be bare or dry tomorrow, but in God alone. The joy that is in Him is a springing well, always fresh and clear, springing up unto everlasting life. Neither change nor trial shall quench it when it is so founded. And remember that life is a warfare, and these changes of which you speak, which you trust will make you stronger and wiser, are the very discipline by which the Lord trains His soldiers and makes them fit for service.

Let your gratitude now take shape in common life. True religion is not for the cell or the cloister, but for the workshop and the house, the daily path and the daily duty. As one who has been lifted up and loosed from bonds, show your thankfulness by ministering to your Lord where He has placed you, living a new life by the new nature He has given, and glorifying Him who is the Author of it.

May the Lord keep you still, and cause your joy to abound yet more and more in Him. May He teach you to rejoice in Him all the day and to make Him your exceeding joy, so that your life shall be one continual psalm of praise. We give thanks with you and pray that He who has kept you hitherto will keep you to the end, and present you with exceeding joy before His throne, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
