We hear the deep distress in your words, and our hearts ache with you. First and foremost, we urge you to seek immediate help from a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or a crisis hotline—your life is precious, and you do not have to carry this burden alone. The weight you feel is real, but so is the hope found in Christ.
We must address the gravity of your pain with the truth of Scripture. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly. Your worth is not defined by your struggles but by the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and redeemed by the blood of Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we plead with you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and in Him alone is true peace.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in the name of Jesus. The thief comes only to destroy, but Christ has overcome the world (John 16:33). You are not without hope. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We command every lie of worthlessness and hopelessness to flee in Jesus’ name. You are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Break the chains of despair, Father, and replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guide them to the help they need—whether it be a trusted friend, a godly counselor, or a medical professional. Give them the strength to reach out and the courage to keep fighting. Remind them that their life has purpose and that You have plans for them—plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, if they do not yet know You, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Soften their heart to receive Your love and grace. If they are a believer, renew their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare healing over their mind, body, and spirit. Restore their joy, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Surround them with godly people who will speak life into them and walk alongside them in this season.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust You to bring beauty from ashes and turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Do not lose heart. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won in Christ. Reach out to someone today—do not wait. If you are reading this, we implore you to take that step now. Call a hotline, contact a church, or message a trusted friend. You are not alone, and your life matters more than you know. The Lord is your strength—lean on Him. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for your breakthrough.
