I'm Seeking the Anointing of....

I am here to seek the office and anointing of the Apostle, I only want those that are truly called of God to answer this request. Only the one which truly hears the voice of the LORD. In Jesus name I pray the Heavenly Father will respond through one of HIS children! In Jesus name, Amen P.S. I truly felt lead of the Holy Spirit to make this request, so please keep this in mind also before responding. In Jesus name, AMEN!
I feel it needs to be added here that I'm not seeking a group of people to anoint me as an apostle. To clarify I am seeking the LORD in this matter. I felt led to come here for prayer about the matter for clarity. The kind of clarity that only God can give. Thank you and God Bless everyone here in Jesus name, AMEN!

You seek the office and anointing of an apostle. But consider the words of the blessed Paul, who was called not by man but by Jesus Christ. He magnified his office, yet he did not seek it; it was given to him by the will of God. When he desired to go to the Jews, the Lord said to him, “Depart, for I will send you far hence to the Gentiles.” Notice how even the great apostle did not direct his own path but was sent where God willed.

The apostles were chosen by Christ Himself. He set them in the church as the foundation. No one can claim that office now by a feeling, however strong, unless the Lord visibly and unmistakably calls as He did with Peter and Paul. Peter spoke for the others because Christ appointed him; Paul was made an apostle to the Gentiles by a direct revelation. These callings were accompanied by signs and wonders, and by the witness of the church.

You say you felt led of the Holy Spirit to make this request. The Spirit never leads against the order He established. The apostles appointed elders in every church, not a perpetual succession of apostles. To covet such a title is to risk what the apostle warned: “And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.” If you truly hear the Lord’s voice, you will hear Him say, “Learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart,” not, “Seek a high office.”

If you desire an anointing, desire the anointing of the Holy One that teaches you all things and leads you into holiness, purity, and humble service. The true sign of apostolic grace was not a title but suffering for Christ, as Paul bore the marks of the Lord Jesus. Examine yourself: are you ready to be as the offscouring of all things for His sake? That is the apostolic mark, not a name or recognition.

Instead of seeking an office, seek to build up the body of Christ in lowliness, as one who serves. The Spirit distributes gifts as He wills, and the greatest gift is love. Beware lest your spiritual impression, however sincere, become a snare of pride. The apostles did not advance themselves; they were advanced by God. Submit to the elders of your church, learn from those set over you, and test every spirit. God is not the author of confusion but of peace, in all the churches.

If you truly long to serve, pour out your life for the sheep in whatever station Providence has placed you. That is the apostolic spirit.

The longing to be anointed by God and used in His service is a sign that the Holy Spirit is already stirring your heart. But the anointing you seek is not tied to a particular title or office; it is the personal, empowering presence of the Holy Spirit Himself. When Jesus began His public ministry, He was full of the Holy Spirit and ministered in that anointing. If the Son of God relied on the Spirit’s power, how much more must we.

That same Spirit has been poured out on all believers. The promise of the Father is not for a select few, it is for every one whom the Lord calls. And the gift is received by simple faith. Paul made that clear when he asked, “Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?” The undeniable answer is faith. You do not need to strive, to convince God you are worthy, or to wait endlessly as though He might withhold. No one can genuinely confess that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. If that confession lives in you, His work has already begun. The indwelling of the Spirit comes at salvation, but there is a subsequent overflowing, an empowering that equips you to be a witness and to serve. That baptism of the Spirit is God’s gift, and He loves to give good gifts to His children.

In the early church, after the Spirit was once given, He was imparted through the laying on of hands or simply as people opened their hearts in faith while hearing the Word. There was no more tarrying, because the gift had been released into the church. God is no respecter of persons. What He did then He still does today. So rather than setting your focus on an office, set your heart on being filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him. It is the Spirit who calls, equips, and sends. He said, “Separate unto me Barnabas and Saul for the work.” The direction came from Him.

The deepest need in the church right now is a renewal in the Holy Spirit, not the pursuit of titles. When your life is ruled by the Spirit, you walk in union with God, and His Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are His child. From that place of abiding, He will manifest whatever gifts and callings He has prepared for you. So come to Him with a simple, trusting heart. Ask for the fullness of the Spirit, and believe that He gives freely. The anointing you seek is found in a life that overflows with Him.

We are deeply humbled that you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of standing in agreement with you for such a profound and Spirit-led request. Your heart for the anointing of the apostolic office, guided by the Holy Spirit, resonates with us, and we have continued to lift this petition before the throne of grace with reverence and expectancy.

As the days have passed, we have interceded, asking the Lord to confirm His calling in your life and to make His voice unmistakably clear—speaking through those whom He has truly appointed to affirm and walk alongside you in this journey. We have prayed for wisdom, discernment, and divine alignment, that only those whom God has ordained would respond to your request, and that His will would be done in your life with perfect clarity and timing.

If the Lord has already moved in response to this prayer—whether through a word of confirmation, a divine encounter, or a step of faith—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how He has answered, so we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory. If, however, the answer has not yet been made clear, we encourage you to post this request again, allowing us to continue standing with you in persistent, faith-filled prayer. We believe the Lord hears and honors the cries of His children, and we are committed to interceding until His purposes are fully revealed.

May the Holy Spirit continue to lead, guide, and anoint you as you seek the Father’s heart in this matter. May He deepen your intimacy with Him, strengthen your faith, and open doors no man can shut. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
