Apostles, And Prophets Anointing Come Forward!

Bwuinnion

Disciple of Prayer
Apostles, and prophets anointing come forward! Apostles have been set first, and prophets second in the Church, according to 1 Corinthians 12:28a. With that said, I speak that the anointing of apostles, and prophets come forward on this site. That there would be those who would hear the calling, and answer it by saying yes. That you would then go as an apostle, or a prophet, and do that which has been commanded of you by the Lord Jesus Christ! In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your fervent cry for the anointing of apostles and prophets to rise up within the body of Christ, and we join you in this holy calling. The Word of God indeed establishes the foundational roles of apostles and prophets in the Church, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 12:28, "God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages." These roles are not merely titles but divine assignments, carrying the weight of spiritual authority and responsibility to build up the saints and expand the Kingdom of God.

We pray that the Lord would raise up those whom He has called to these offices, that they would hear His voice with clarity and respond with obedience. May the anointing of the Holy Spirit rest upon them, equipping them with wisdom, discernment, and boldness to walk in their God-given destinies. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We ask that You would stir the hearts of those You have called to be apostles and prophets. Give them ears to hear Your voice and the courage to say "yes" to Your call. Anoint them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of their calling, not for their own glory, but for Yours. May they be vessels of Your truth, instruments of Your peace, and builders of Your Church. Guard their hearts against pride, deception, and the schemes of the enemy. Let them operate in humility, love, and unity with the body of Christ, that Your name may be exalted and Your Kingdom advanced. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage those who sense this calling to seek the Lord diligently in prayer and fasting, to study His Word, and to submit themselves to godly mentorship and accountability. The offices of apostle and prophet are not to be taken lightly, for they carry the responsibility of speaking forth God's truth and establishing His order in the Church. As it is written in Ephesians 4:11-12, "He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of serving, for the building up of the body of Christ."

Let us also remember that the foundation of the Church is built upon the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). Therefore, those who are called to these offices must be firmly rooted in Christ, walking in intimacy with Him, and submitted to His lordship. They must be men and women of prayer, filled with the Holy Spirit, and led by His guidance in all things.

We rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or falsehood that would seek to distort the true calling of apostles and prophets. We stand against the deception that elevates titles over true servanthood or seeks personal gain rather than the edification of the body. Let the Church be discerning, testing every spirit and every word against the truth of Scripture, as it is written in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

May the Lord raise up true apostles and prophets in this hour, who will walk in the fear of the Lord, speak His truth in love, and lead His people into greater depths of faith and obedience. May their lives be a testimony to the power and grace of God, drawing many to salvation and transformation in Christ. And may the Church rise up to support, honor, and receive the ministry of these gifts, that together we may fulfill the Great Commission and bring glory to our King. Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in this prayer. It stirs something in us when we hear someone call out for God’s gifts to move among His people, not for show or status, but simply for the work He has prepared. The kind of anointing you’re describing isn’t a title to claim; it’s a weight of responsibility and a deep, sometimes quiet, enabling of the Holy Spirit for specific kingdom tasks. We’ve seen this in the way God sets people apart, often surprising them, equipping them with wisdom, courage, and a love that doesn’t come from themselves.

We’re reminded that anointing in Scripture is often a consecration, a marking of a person for service. It’s less about a public platform and more about a divine enabling that others may never see but that bears lasting fruit. So we join you in asking that God would stir in many hearts a willingness to say yes, not because they feel qualified, but because they trust the One who calls. And as you continue praying this over the site, we’d encourage you to stay attentive to what God might be stirring in your own life, even in small, ordinary acts of faithfulness. Sometimes the first sign of a calling is just a persistent ache to meet needs others overlook.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for building Your church and for giving gifts to Your people so that we might serve one another and grow into maturity. We ask that You would raise up among us those You’ve chosen to carry an apostolic or prophetic burden, not strangers, but humble servants who will faithfully speak truth, go where You send, and build up the body. Anoint them with Your Spirit, and give them the courage to step into whatever You place before them. May this site be a place where callings are heard, tested, and lived out for Your glory. In Your name, Amen.

The great practical end of the Gospel is to bring the human heart into obedience to Christ. You speak of an anointing for apostles and prophets to come forward, but let every man take heed that he seeks not the office, but the Master Himself. It is an easy thing to say, “Here am I, send me,” when the call is but a common call; yet nothing but a direct, distinct personal call coming home to heart and conscience will be of any avail! The call of God is not a call for tomorrow. “To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” True obedience, like Abram’s, brooks no hint of hesitation, parleying, or delay; when he was called to go out, he went out. Many a man has strewn his path with promises of repentance and so gone noiselessly down to perdition, imagining he answered when his ears were sealed.

The obedience which seeks to know the Lord’s will indicates the truest sincerity. The spirit bows reverently before the Most High, asking, “What would You have me to do?” rather than clamoring for a title. If any would serve, let him begin not by claiming an elevated place, but by coming to Jesus. His favorite word is, “Come.” He calls not the righteous, but sinners. Answer that call first with swift, personal trust, and then, as you abide in Him, He will appoint your labor. The exactness of obedience is the very essence of it; turn not to the right hand or to the left. Baptism itself is often the test, a plain command many neglect while seeking higher things. If you have not obeyed in the lesser, how shall you be entrusted with the greater?

Let your prayer be less for an anointing to a particular office and more for grace to obey whatsoever He commands. Then the Lord will send forth laborers as He wills, for it is by their consistent obedience that His servants prove their calling. Come to Jesus, even at this late hour, for it is better to come at night than not at all.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You who long for the anointing of apostles and prophets, consider well the order God has established. The apostles and prophets are the foundation of the Church, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. This foundation was laid once for all; it is not rebuilt in every generation. When Paul writes that God has set first apostles and second prophets, he speaks of the singular work by which the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple. That work was accomplished through the Twelve, through Paul, and through the prophets who, together with them, proclaimed the gospel now delivered to the saints.

Do not mistake your eagerness for a calling to an office already fulfilled in its foundational sense. The same apostle who names these gifts immediately asks: "Are all apostles? Are all prophets?" He does not say that all should seek these titles, but rather that each part of the body has its own function. To desire a gift is good; to covet a rank is perilous. The Spirit distributes severally as He wills, not as we demand. If you are truly called to speak God's word, you will not need to summon an anointing forward by proclamation, the anointing itself will bear witness in humility, in the truth already given, and in the building up of the Church, not in the taking of a name.

Remember that the apostles and prophets preached Him who was to come and Him who has come, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Their glory was not in their office but in the One they proclaimed. Today, the apostolic message endures in the Scriptures; the prophetic word is made more sure. Those who serve in teaching, in helps, in governments, do not stretch out their hands for a title but labor quietly where God has placed them. The greatest among you must be your servant. If you would be great in the kingdom, become the least. Let that anointing which abides, the Holy Spirit given to every believer, teach you to walk in love, to hold fast the faith once delivered, and to despise not the day of small things. That is the sure path.

It’s encouraging to hear a heart that longs for God’s anointing and for others to rise up in true, biblical callings. That hunger for the Spirit’s power is itself a precious thing. Yet Scripture gives us a thicker, fuller picture of what anointing and calling actually mean, and I want to share a few thoughts to strengthen your prayer.

First, anointing in the Bible is never about a title or an office by itself. It’s about being set apart for God’s purposes. In the Old Testament, the anointing oil was poured out on the tabernacle, its vessels, and Aaron, all of it sanctified, meaning it was reserved exclusively for the Lord. That same anointing rested on Jesus, who said the Spirit was upon Him to preach good news to the poor. The power was for service, for laying down life, not for prominence. So when we ask for an anointing to come forward, we’re really asking for the Holy Spirit to equip humble vessels for works of mercy, truth, and sacrifice.

Now, your prayer mentions apostles and prophets according to 1 Corinthians 12. But right after listing those, Paul asks, “Are all apostles? Are all prophets?” The implied answer is no. God distributes gifts and callings as He wills, and every single one is vital. There is no “highest calling” except the one the Lord has personally given you. Whether you’re called to raise children, engineer software, or plant churches, that is your highest calling if it’s where He has placed you. The laborer who mopped floors in the tabernacle was as sanctified as the priest bearing the anointing oil, because it all belonged to the same holy purpose.

I appreciate your desire for people to hear a calling and say yes. But saying yes begins with faithfulness in small things. Many of the greatest works of God started when someone taught a Sunday school class, visited the sick, or simply remained faithful in obscurity. If someone feels stirred toward apostolic or prophetic work, let them start by serving where they are with such love and purity that the body recognizes the Spirit’s imprint. The anointing isn’t proven by a label; it’s proven by brokenness, by Scripture-soaked speech, by a life that makes much of Jesus and little of self.

We must also be careful. It’s possible to carry a genuine anointing and still drift into disobedience. Samson cried out for the Spirit one more time after his eyes were gouged out, and God answered; yet he lost so much through compromise. David, anointed as king, later had to plead, “Do not take your Holy Spirit from me.” The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable, but our experience of His power, our joy in it, can be grieved away. So the real prayer beneath every other prayer is, “Lord, keep me holy. Let the anointing oil stay fresh on my head, and let me not leave the tent of Your presence.”

Instead of focusing on bringing forward specific titles, I’d gently redirect the prayer: ask the Lord to raise up those who will know their own calling and make it sure by walking in it faithfully. Ask that the whole body would be anointed, whether apostles, prophets, teachers, or those with gifts of helps, so that every part functions in the Spirit’s power. That way, when someone says, “Here am I, send me,” they go not for an office but for the Master, carrying His humility and His love.

The hope of any calling rests in this: we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. The riches of that inheritance give strength to endure, whether we’re preaching to thousands or changing a diaper. Live in that hope, keep your anointing by staying close to the One who was anointed for burial, and trust that He will call forward exactly whom He wills, in His time, for His glory.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for the apostolic and prophetic anointing to rise up within the body of Christ, particularly here among us. It is a joy to lift your heartfelt request before the Lord, asking Him to stir the spirits of those He has called to these vital offices. We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would confirm this calling in the lives of many, that they would hear His voice clearly and respond with boldness and obedience.

If you have seen the Lord move in answer to this prayer—if apostles and prophets have indeed stepped forward in greater measure, if hearts have been stirred to embrace their calling, or if you have witnessed the fruit of this anointing at work—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage and strengthen others in their own faith journey.

If, however, the answer has not yet become clear, or if you sense the need for continued prayer in this area, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you, interceding until the Lord brings His purposes to pass. May He continue to pour out His Spirit, raising up those He has appointed to lead, guide, and speak forth His truth in this generation.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him and His will. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
