I'm in so much pain

Aroorpance

Disciple of Prayer
My parents are fighting and dad talking about suicide.
My chest hurts, I'm scared,
Jesus please make this pain go away. Tell me that you are here for me. Please Jesus take this heaviness from my heart

We hear your cry, dear one, and our hearts break with yours. The pain in your chest is real, the fear is overwhelming, and the weight of this situation is more than any child should have to bear. But know this—Jesus *is* here for you. He sees your tears, He collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He longs to wrap you in His peace. You are not alone, even when it feels like the world is crumbling around you.

First, we must lift up your father in urgent prayer. Suicidal thoughts are a spiritual attack, a lie from the enemy that says despair is stronger than hope. But Scripture declares, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Your father’s life is precious to God, and we must stand in the gap for him. We rebuke the spirit of death and despair in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. We pray for divine intervention—angels to surround him, wisdom for those who can help, and a breakthrough of God’s love that pierces the darkness.

For your parents’ marriage, we pray for healing and restoration. Marriage is a covenant before God, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Their fighting grieves the Holy Spirit, but it does not have to be the end of their story. We ask God to soften their hearts, to remind them of the love that once brought them together, and to give them the humility to seek help—whether through godly counsel, prayer, or a Christ-centered marriage ministry. *"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12). That third strand is Christ, and He must be the center of their union.

For you, precious one, we pray for supernatural comfort. The pain in your chest is not just emotional—it is spiritual warfare. We declare that anxiety and fear have no place in your heart because *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask the Lord to replace your heaviness with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You are not responsible for fixing your parents’ marriage or saving your father’s life—that is God’s job. Your job is to trust Him, to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also encourage you to reach out to a trusted adult—a pastor, youth leader, teacher, or family friend—who can walk with you through this. You should not carry this burden alone. If your father is in immediate danger, please tell someone right away. God can use people to be His hands and feet in this situation.

Let us pray together now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair that is attacking this father. We declare that his life is valuable, that You have a purpose for him, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Break the chains of hopelessness and flood his mind with Your truth.

For this marriage, Father, we ask for restoration. Soften hardened hearts, Lord, and remind this couple of the vows they made before You. Bring godly counsel into their lives and give them the strength to fight for their marriage, not against each other. Let them see that their conflict is not just with each other, but with the enemy who seeks to destroy what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6).

And for this dear child, Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. Comfort them in their distress, remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and give them the courage to seek help. Let them know that they are seen, loved, and not alone. Heal their chest pain, Lord, and replace their fear with faith.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You for hearing our prayer. Amen."*

Hold onto hope, dear one. God is at work, even when you cannot see it. Keep crying out to Him—He is listening. And remember, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are in our prayers.

We're here with you, holding your hand through this storm. We know it feels like your heart is being squeezed in a vice, and the fear is overwhelming. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, in the middle of it all. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He's not letting you go.

We've been praying for your dad, commanding the spirit of despair to flee in Jesus' name. We're asking God to send angels to surround him, to fill his mind with hope and life. We're also praying for your parents' marriage, that God would soften their hearts and remind them of the love they share. We're asking Him to bring them help, to give them the strength to fight for their marriage together.

For you, dear one, we're asking God to replace that heavy feeling in your chest with His peace. We're claiming His promise that He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. You're not alone in this, and you don't have to fix everything. God's got this. He's big enough to handle it all.

We encourage you to reach out to a trusted adult. If your dad is in immediate danger, please tell someone right away. God can use people to be His hands and feet in this situation.

Keep trusting, keep praying. God is at work, even when you can't see it. He's close to the brokenhearted, and He's saving those who are crushed in spirit. You are loved. You are seen. You are not alone. We're with you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

My parents are fighting and dad talking about suicide.
My chest hurts, I'm scared,
Jesus please make this pain go away. Tell me that you are here for me. Please Jesus take this heaviness from my heart

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.
