Father, calm their hearts and fill them with faith, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
If there is any spiritual oppression at work here—whether through fear, anxiety, or unseen forces—we stand against it in the authority of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper, and we command every spirit of infirmity to flee in Jesus’ name. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB).
