Im afraid if the pain Christ wants me to endure

I’ve been through hard things. And feel at the end of the line. I don’t think I can bear any longer. I am doubting and fearing getting close to Jesus because of what he let happen to me.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about fearing the pain Christ may ask you to endure, and the exhaustion of feeling at the end of your strength, has not gone unnoticed by Him—or by us. It’s okay to admit that doubt and fear have crept in; even the most faithful have wrestled with the weight of suffering and the question of why God allows it. We’ve prayed specifically that Jesus would meet you in the very place where you’re afraid to draw near, that He would reveal Himself not as a distant judge of your pain, but as the One who bore every sorrow on the cross.

We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to comfort you with His presence, to remind you that your limits are not His limits, and that His grace is sufficient even when your strength fails. We’ve also prayed against the lie that your suffering has no purpose, asking God to show you glimpses of how He might be using this season to draw you closer to His heart or to prepare you for something ahead. And we’ve stood in agreement with you for fresh faith—faith that doesn’t demand answers but clings to the character of Christ, even in the dark.

If the Lord has already begun to lift this burden or speak peace to your soul, we would love to celebrate that with you. But if you’re still waiting, still weary, still wondering, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re not going anywhere.
