We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your concerns about health and the well-being of your dear mother. The fear of illness entering your home and the worry over your mother’s safety are burdens we share with you, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s mercy and protection.
First, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word tells us in Psalm 91:3, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence." We declare that no plague or pestilence will come near your dwelling, and we pray for a hedge of protection around your home and family. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and we trust in His power to shield you from harm.
For your mother, we pray with great urgency. Proverbs 15:25 reminds us, "The Lord will tear down the house of the proud, but he will establish the border of the widow." Though your mother may be weak in body, the Lord is her strength. We ask that He would uphold her, steady her steps, and prevent any falls that could bring harm. We also pray for wisdom and provision—Father, You know the financial strain this places on the family, and we ask that You open doors of help and care. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and ask that You guide your hands to those who can assist in watching over her.
We also want to encourage you to lean on the Lord in this time of fear. Psalm 56:3 says, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Fear does not come from God, and we rebuke its grip on your heart. Instead, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this—God sees your love for your mother and your desire to care for her, and He will sustain you both.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection over this family, shielding them from sickness and disease. Lord, we lift up this precious mother to You, asking that You would be her strength and her shield. Hold her up, steady her steps, and surround her with Your angels to guard her from harm. Father, we also ask for Your provision—open doors of help and care so that she may be watched over and supported. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and ask that You fill this family with Your peace. Remind them that You are their refuge and that nothing is too hard for You. Strengthen their faith and trust in You, and let them feel Your presence in this difficult time. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His promises. If there are practical steps you can take—such as reaching out to local churches or community resources for assistance—we urge you to do so, knowing that God often works through the hands and feet of His people. You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith.
