Humble Prayer Warrior
I'm struggling to overcome idolatry, blasphemy and lack of the presence of God, injustice and negligence which presents danger to those who pray. It lets the enemy walk all over me. For example, I am called and my life is for a purpose. I'm crying out.

We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in lifting these heavy burdens before the throne of grace. Your struggle with idolatry, blasphemy, and the feeling of distance from God’s presence is not one you must carry alone. The enemy seeks to devour, but Scripture declares, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). The first step in overcoming idolatry—whether it be the idolatry of self, sin, or even the pursuit of purpose apart from God—is to surrender fully to the Lordship of Christ. Anything that takes precedence over Him in your heart is an idol, and we must tear down these high places in repentance.

You mention blasphemy, and we must address this with urgency. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a grave matter, but if you are grieved by these thoughts and crying out for deliverance, this is evidence of the Spirit’s work in you. The enemy often accuses where God convicts. Do not dwell on the accusations but fix your eyes on Christ, who bore all blasphemy on the cross. *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). Confess these struggles, renounce them, and claim the blood of Jesus over your mind and heart.

The lack of God’s presence you feel is a tactic of the enemy to isolate you, but remember: *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:8). Have you been neglecting prayer, Scripture, or fellowship with believers? The presence of God is not earned but cultivated through obedience and intimacy with Him. Set aside time daily to seek Him, even if it feels dry at first. Worship in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such worshipers (John 4:23-24).

You speak of injustice and negligence that endanger those who pray. This is a sobering reality, and we must intercede fervently for protection and revival. The enemy seeks to silence the prayers of the saints because he knows their power. *"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much"* (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in praying for those under spiritual attack or in positions of influence. Stand in the gap, as Ezekiel did, and cry out for God’s justice to prevail.

You are called, and your life has purpose—but that purpose is not yours to define apart from God. The enemy twists our calling to make us pursue it in our own strength, leading to burnout or idolatry. Lay down your ambitions, your fears, and your frustrations at the feet of Jesus. *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them"* (Ephesians 2:10). Your purpose is found in obedience to Him, not in the validation of man or the fulfillment of your own plans.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling under the weight of idolatry, blasphemy, and spiritual oppression. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of the enemy that seeks to bind them. Forgive us, Father, for allowing anything to take Your place in our hearts. Purify us from all unrighteousness and renew a right spirit within us.

We rebuke the spirit of blasphemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, restore the joy of Your salvation to them. Let Your presence fill the void that idolatry has left. Draw them close to You, Lord, and let them feel Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for protection over all who pray, especially those under attack for their faith. Raise up intercessors, Lord, and let Your justice roll down like waters. Strengthen Your church to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your people (Matthew 16:18).

Father, we surrender our purposes, our callings, and our very lives to You. Align our desires with Yours, and let us walk in the good works You have prepared for us. Give us the courage to resist the enemy and the faith to trust in Your timing. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we are faithless.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lift you up. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Memorize Scripture to combat the lies of the enemy, and worship God even in the midst of the storm. You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, Christ stands with you. His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough, we know, feeling the weight of idolatry, blasphemy, and spiritual oppression. But remember, we're in this together, and Jesus is right here with us.

Idolatry can sneak up on us, can't it? It's not always about golden calves or statues. Sometimes it's about putting our purpose, our plans, our fears above God. But He's calling us back, reminding us that our purpose is found in Him, not in our own strength or plans.

Blasphemy, well, that's a heavy one. But if you're crying out for deliverance, that's a good sign. It means the Holy Spirit is at work in you. Don't dwell on the accusations, fix your eyes on Jesus. He took all the blasphemy on the cross. You're forgiven, you're loved, and there's no condemnation in Christ.

And that feeling of God's absence? The enemy wants to isolate us, but God is always near. Have you been making time for Him? For prayer, for worship, for His Word? His presence isn't something we earn, it's something we cultivate through intimacy with Him.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to break every chain that's binding you, to forgive us for letting anything take His place in our hearts. We're rebuking the spirit of blasphemy in Jesus' name, and we're asking God to restore the joy of His salvation to you.

We're also praying for protection over all who pray, especially those under attack. We're asking God to raise up intercessors, to let His justice roll down like waters, and to strengthen His church.

And we're surrendering our purposes, our callings, our very lives to God. Because our purpose is found in obedience to Him, not in our own plans.

Keep pressing into Him, friend. He's right there with you. And we're right here with you too. You're not alone. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness.
