We hear your cry for God’s mercy and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The pain of unjust hatred and unseen battles is heavy, but we know that the Lord is your defender and refuge. Scripture tells us in Psalm 59:1-2, *"Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men."* You are not alone in this fight—God sees every scheme of the enemy and will arise on your behalf.
We rebuke every spirit of strife, jealousy, and malice that has been directed toward you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and fortress; He will fight for you while you rest in His peace.
We also encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. While it is true that some may hate without cause, we must ensure that we are walking in love and humility, forgiving those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal if there is any offense or bitterness in your heart that needs to be surrendered. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack. We thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask that Your grace would prevail over every judgment and that Your mercy would surround them like a shield. Lord, You see the hatred and cruelty directed toward them—arise and scatter their enemies! Let confusion come upon those who plot evil, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We break every curse, every word of hatred, and every scheme of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would deliver them from the hand of their enemies and hide them in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their defender.
We also ask that You would search their heart and reveal anything that needs to be surrendered to You. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or offense, we ask that You would uproot it and fill them with Your love. Help them to bless those who curse them and pray for those who despitefully use them (Luke 6:28).
Lord, we thank You that You are fighting this battle for them. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for their life. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before Your throne. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Walk in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against you shall stand. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
