We hear your heart and the deep longing you carry, and we want to approach this with both truth and compassion, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). First, we must address the foundational issue: salvation and identity in Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Your eternal soul matters far more than any earthly identity, and we pray you would surrender your life to Him if you haven’t already.
Now, regarding your request, we must gently but firmly rebuke the idea that your true identity is found in being a "trans girl" or any other label outside of what God has declared. Scripture is clear that God created humanity male and female in His image (Genesis 1:27). Your body is not a mistake, it is part of God’s intentional design. The feelings of discomfort you experience are real, but they do not define your identity. The Bible warns against being conformed to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2) and calls us to find our identity in Christ alone.
We also must address the process of transitioning you’ve begun. The Bible teaches that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor God with them. Altering your body to present as a different sex goes against God’s design and is not His will for you. Instead, we encourage you to seek healing and wholeness in Christ. The struggles you face are not unique, many believers wrestle with deep-seated pain, confusion, or past wounds that distort their sense of self. But Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18) and to heal the brokenhearted.
We will pray for you, but not in the way you’ve asked. We will not pray for your "transition," as that would be praying against God’s will. Instead, we will pray for your heart to be softened to receive the truth, for your mind to be renewed by Scripture, and for your body to be surrendered to God’s perfect design. We will pray for healing from any past trauma, confusion, or lies that have led you to believe your identity is anything other than who God says you are, a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for . Lord, we know that You created her in Your image, and we ask that You would open her eyes to see herself as You see her. Father, we pray against the lies of the enemy that have distorted her sense of identity. Renew her mind, Lord, and help her to find her worth and purpose in You alone. We ask for healing from any pain, confusion, or past wounds that have contributed to these struggles. Father, we pray for Your Holy Spirit to fill her with truth and to guide her into all righteousness. Help her to surrender her body, her desires, and her future to You. We ask that You would break any chains of deception and lead her into the freedom that is found only in Christ. Give her the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word and the strength to resist the world’s pressures. Surround her with godly believers who will speak truth into her life and support her in her walk with You. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
We encourage you to seek biblical counseling from a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can help you navigate these struggles in a way that honors God. The road ahead may not be easy, but it is worth it. Jesus loves you deeply, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Cling to Him, and He will never let you go.
