I want be exrcised

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with urgency and compassion. The desire to be free from spiritual oppression is a serious matter, and we take it before the Lord with reverence and faith in the power of Jesus Christ.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. There is no deliverance or freedom except through the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:12-14). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome darkness.

The Bible makes it clear that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). However, Jesus came to give us life and victory over the powers of darkness. The apostle Paul writes, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). But we are not left defenseless, God has given us the armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18).

If you are experiencing spiritual oppression, we must also examine whether there are areas in your life that may have opened doors to the enemy. The Bible warns us to flee from idolatry, sexual immorality, and all forms of sin, as these can give the enemy a foothold (1 Corinthians 10:14, Ephesians 4:27). Have you engaged in any practices, relationships, or habits that do not align with God’s Word? If so, we urge you to repent and turn away from them, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We also encourage you to surround yourself with strong believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Jesus sent out His disciples with authority over unclean spirits (Mark 6:7), and the early church practiced deliverance in His name (Acts 16:18). If you are part of a local church, seek out mature Christians who can pray with you and guide you in this process.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. Lord, we lift up to You, knowing that You are the God who sets the captives free. We declare that Jesus Christ has already won the victory on the cross, and by His blood, we have authority over every evil spirit.

Lord, we ask You to break every chain of oppression in ’s life. We rebuke every unclean spirit in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. We plead the blood of Jesus over ’s mind, body, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy has no legal right to torment or harass.

Father, we ask You to fill with Your Holy Spirit, bringing peace, joy, and freedom. Strengthen ’s faith and help them to stand firm in Your truth. Surround with godly believers who can support and pray with them. Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of sin or unrepentance that need to be addressed, and grant the grace to turn away from anything that displeases You.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver and set free. May walk in the fullness of Your freedom, knowing that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step to true freedom. If you would like to pray to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we would be honored to guide you in that prayer. Simply say:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn away from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

If you prayed that prayer, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. The journey of freedom in Christ is one that we walk together, and we are here to support you.

, we read your request and we want you to know we hear the deep distress in such a short sentence. When someone reaches out with this kind of plea, it's often because they feel overwhelmed or frightened by things they can't explain. We don't take that lightly.

Rather than trying to resolve everything through a screen, one of the kindest things we can offer is our steady presence and a practical path forward. You don't have to sort this out alone. In our tradition, we've seen people find real peace when they stop trying to battle shadows by themselves and instead allow mature, grounded believers to walk with them. If you have a pastor or a trusted spiritual leader in your life, please reach out to that person directly. If not, a local, Bible-believing church is a safe place to start. Speaking face-to-face with someone who can pray with you and gently help you discern what's happening is far more effective and less isolating than carrying this weight by yourself.

One thing we've also learned is that an unhealthy fixation on the demonic can sometimes create more fear than freedom. The goal isn't a dramatic moment but a steady, safe life in Christ. While you're seeking that in-person support, we simply ask God to quiet your spirit and surround you with His protection.

Lord Jesus, we lift up to You. You see the turmoil and fear. We ask You to bring a deep stillness to their mind and body. In Your authority, we pray against any darkness that seeks to overwhelm them, and we ask You to guide them quickly to a wise, compassionate believer who can walk this road with them. Fill them with Your perfect love that drives out all fear. Amen.

You speak of a desire for deliverance, and the very word sounds like the cry of Israel under Pharaoh’s lash, groaning, oppressed, and utterly unable to free yourself. Egypt’s iron furnace is a small picture of the bondage you feel, a cruel captivity from which no human hand can loose the chains. Yet this is the very place where Jehovah’s outstretched arm is revealed! That depression of spirit, that weight of darkness, that sense of a hostile presence, these are the things from which the great Liberator rescues His people. But note this well: deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. You cannot exorcise yourself any more than a corpse can command life into its own lungs. The ransom must be found by another.

God Himself has found that ransom. The eternal purpose decreed it, and when the Lamb was slain, the prison doors swung wide. “I have found a ransom!”, let those words roll like thunder through the chambers of your despair. It is not a mere word spoken by a mortal, but the declaration of the Almighty concerning everyone who is going down into the pit. Jesus Christ has borne the penalty, broken the thralldom, and puts to flight the hosts of darkness by the arrow of His own deliverance. Hearken: the full and effectual liberation from all infernal malice and inward sin is bound up in Him alone. If you look to yourself, your struggles, or any other arm, you shall remain in irons. But if you trust the Great Liberator, His blood is a sovereign dispelling of every unclean power. He delivers from sin’s guilt and sin’s dominion with the same pierced hand! When He sets the captive free, He does so by an authority that hell itself must obey. Do not doubt your deliverance, God has spoken it, and His word makes the thing certain. It is already accomplished in the covenant of grace for all who rest their souls upon Christ.

Perhaps an arrow of blasphemous suggestion whispers that your case is too dark, too peculiar, that God’s ear is shut. That is a lie forged in the pit! I have crossed the brook Jabbok full of terror, expecting an enemy, and instead found a brother’s embrace. The Lord allows the trial, the oppression, the fiery dart, so that when deliverance comes you will know it is of free grace alone and will never dare to touch the honor with your finger. Sinner, your despondency is the canvas upon which the golden thread of mercy will be woven. Life and health often come to saints through briny tears and the bruising of the spirit. What is your felt bondage but the schoolmaster to drive you to Him? The Lord chastens sorely, but He never gives the soul over to death when that soul learns to cling to the appointed Redeemer. Forsake every mysterious cure and incantation of men; fly to Him who is the Deliverer out of Zion. Look to the heavenly Father altogether and alone for your sanctification and your rescue. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all unrighteousness and shatters every yoke.

Your conduct after this deliverance, when the morning breaks and the shadows flee, must be a loud declaration. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” If we had no troubles, we would have less to tell of His mighty acts. The man who has felt the chains fall free, who has seen the hosts of darkness retreat before the Captain of Salvation, has a song that the mere beach-walker can never sing. Go now to the throne of grace; spread your case before the pitiless sea of divine pity, yet believe that God’s ear is not shut. The ministry of consolation is for such as you, those sorrowing over their captivity and seeking divine deliverance. Rest your soul upon Him, for the clock of mercy shall strike the hour of your liberation. He will bring you forth, and your mouth shall be filled with laughter, and your tongue with singing. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance flies even now; do not shoot it sparingly upon the ground of unbelief. Let your faith beat the dust in earnest importunity, and you shall yet rejoice in Him who has found a ransom, who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and who has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Believe, and you shall see the salvation of God.

My life is over anyway so I might as well die. I don't want to live anymore, particularly in a country run by Christian nationalists. They'll be happy to see people like me gone as well - people who oppose their worldview. I am beyond ready to go. Please take me. I'm begging. Please.
