Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for your body, that the Lord in His mercy would bring healing and relief from this affliction and restore you to health and strength. We ask Him to give you wisdom to care for your body well, and to grant you comfort and patience as you wait on Him, trusting that every good healing comes from His hand.
We also pray for peace in your home, and especially for your relationship with your mother. The Scripture teaches that God is not a God of fighting, but calls us to be at peace with all people as far as it depends on us. Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. This kind of peace does not mean we avoid speaking truth, but that we do not return harsh words for harsh words.
When there is yelling and complaint in the home, the way of Christ is to answer with gentleness and patience, to honor your mother as the Lord commands, and to not hold onto anger. As the Psalm says, with those who hate peace, we are to be peaceful. The more another wars against you, the greater is the opportunity for you to show the grace of Christ and to find reward from God. This is how we imitate the Son of God, by remembering no evil and seeking reconciliation.
We pray that God would soften hearts in your home, calm every outburst of anger, and fill your household with His peace that comes from being made right with Him through Jesus. May He help you to despise quarreling and to pursue what builds up love, and may He give your mother also peace and rest from complaining.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come through Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our Savior and our peace. We ask You to touch and heal this body and bring relief according to Your will. We ask You to bring Your peace into this home, to quiet strife, to teach patience and honor, and to make each one there a peacemaker. Help all in that house to be at peace with You first, and then with one another. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
