Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already brought into your life! It is a testament to His faithfulness and your sincere repentance that you have seen such progress in overcoming these struggles. You are absolutely right to give all glory, honor, and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by His power alone that we are set free from the bondage of sin. Your heart’s cry for lasting transformation is beautiful in His sight, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6, WEB).

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual immorality—are not just struggles of the flesh but attacks against the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). The enemy seeks to ensnare believers in these sins to steal their joy, distort their view of godly love, and hinder their witness for Christ. But take heart, for the Lord has already given you the victory through Jesus Christ! The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you, enabling you to walk in holiness and purity (Romans 8:11, WEB).

We must also remind you that true freedom comes not only through prayer but through the renewing of your mind by the Word of God. Scripture tells us, ā€œDon’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of Godā€ (Romans 12:2, WEB). This means filling your heart and mind with God’s truth daily, fleeing from temptations (2 Timothy 2:22, WEB), and replacing ungodly habits with godly ones. Are you immersing yourself in Scripture? Are you surrounding yourself with brothers in Christ who will hold you accountable and encourage you in purity? These are vital steps the Lord may be calling you to take.

Additionally, we urge you to examine your heart for any areas of unbelief or lingering affection for these sins. Jesus said, ā€œIf anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow meā€ (Matthew 16:24, WEB). Denying yourself means turning away from sin completely, even when it is painful or difficult. It means choosing obedience over temporary pleasure, trusting that God’s ways are higher and His rewards are eternal. Ask the Lord to reveal any hidden idols in your heart—anything you may be clinging to instead of Him—and surrender them fully to His lordship.

Let us also address the flirting you mentioned. Flirting, even with the opposite sex, can easily lead to lustful thoughts or emotional entanglements that dishonor God and the people involved. Scripture calls us to treat one another with purity and respect, as brothers and sisters in Christ (1 Timothy 5:1-2, WEB). If you are not married, your interactions with the opposite sex should reflect godly love and self-control, always pointing toward the honor of marriage rather than selfish desires. If you are courting or seeking a spouse, let your actions and words be guided by the Holy Spirit, ensuring that your relationships are built on Christ and His purposes, not on fleeting emotions or physical attractions.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in our brother’s life. Lord, You alone are worthy of all praise, for by Your Spirit, he has seen victory over the sins that once enslaved him. But Father, we know that the battle is not yet fully won, and so we cry out to You for complete and lasting deliverance. Lord Jesus, You were tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15, WEB). You understand the struggles of the flesh, and You have provided the way of escape for every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). We ask that You strengthen our brother to take that way of escape every time, without hesitation.

Father, renew his mind daily by Your Word. Let him meditate on Your truths day and night, that his thoughts may be pure and his heart may be fully Yours (Psalm 1:2, WEB). Remove from him any love for sin, any curiosity or desire that does not align with Your will. Replace it with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he may be filled with Your Spirit and walk in obedience to Your commands (Matthew 5:6, WEB).

Lord, we pray for godly wisdom and discernment. Show him the traps the enemy has set and give him the courage to flee from them. Surround him with brothers in Christ who will stand with him, encourage him, and hold him accountable. Let him not walk this path alone, but let him find strength in the body of Christ, Your church.

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to abound in his life. Speak to him clearly, Lord, through Your Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of godly men. Let him hear Your voice above all others, guiding him into all truth. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of the enemy, and set him free to live in the fullness of Your love and purity.

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The blood of Jesus covers him, and by that blood, he is cleansed from all unrighteousness. Let him walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for him, no longer a slave to sin but a bondservant of righteousness (Romans 6:18, WEB).

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would prepare him for a future that honors You. If it is Your will, prepare him to be a godly husband, a man of integrity who loves his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Until then, guard his heart and his eyes, that he may remain pure and blameless before You.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in his life, for Your glory alone. Amen.

Brother, continue to fight the good fight of faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest of righteousness if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Cling to Jesus, for He is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in trouble. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will complete the work He has started in you. Stay rooted in His Word, stay connected to His people, and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Victory is yours in Christ!

We're right there with you, brother. We're so glad to see the progress you've made, and we're cheering you on as you continue this journey. We want to encourage you with a verse that's been a great comfort to us: "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2, WEB). Jesus is not just the one who started this good work in you; He's also the one who will carry it through to completion.

We want to pray with you for wisdom and understanding. Lord, help our brother to understand the root causes of these struggles. Help him to see the lies he's believed and the truths he needs to embrace. Give him a clear mind and a discerning heart, so he can make wise choices that honor You.

We also want to pray for strength and resilience. Lord, give our brother the strength to resist temptations. Help him to stand firm in his faith, even when faced with challenges. Remind him that he's not alone in this fight. You're always with him, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Finally, we want to pray for perseverance. Lord, help our brother to keep going, even when things get tough. Help him to keep his eyes on the prize - a life fully devoted to You. Give him the strength to endure and the courage to keep fighting the good fight.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
