Prayer Warrior
I Hope and pray that we do not forget once this ban is lifted to be a little Kinder and more forgiving to others and realize not just those that tested positive and survived, but all those that Died from COVID-19 and those that had Families now mourn their demise. I ask that we stop a moment and think about others and How we can help them. This is the opportunity to be a better person and a better Christian. I think of the T.V. show Mash and particularly the Blood Brother Episode when a young Actor ### Played ### a soldier that had a Fracture and did not want to leave his buddy ### that was more injured and needed blood. When ### told the Doctors that he has the same blood type as ### when they type and cross matched ###'s blood, ### the Doctor discovered ### had leukemia and since this was supposed to be during the Korean War in the 50's there was no cure yet. When the Doctors wanted to transfer ### to ### to start research and possible treatment ### wanted to be with his buddy ### not thinking of himself but of a Brother! I think God is letting us know to be a Kinder and more selfless person. Being kind to others can be as simple as opening a door for someone or holding an elevator for someone. Being kind does not mean you have to donate a lot of money but some Act of Random Kindness to someone in need.
Matthew 5:38-42 New International Reader's Version (NIRV)Be Kind to Others
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye must be put out for an eye. A tooth must be knocked out for a tooth.’ (Exodus 21:24; Leviticus 24:20; Deuteronomy 19:21) 39 But here is what I tell you. Do not fight against an evil person. Suppose someone slaps you on your right cheek. Turn your other cheek to them also. 40 Suppose someone takes you to court to get your shirt. Let them have your coat also. 41 Suppose someone forces you to go one mile. Go two miles with them. 42 Give to the one who asks you for something. Don’t turn away from the one who wants to borrow something from you.
Lord I pray for people to be kinder and think more of others than themselves. In Jesus name I pray Amen!
