Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Look to God for your strength and joy and peace. Father we pray for this dear person, Father only you know what hinders their progression and joy in this life. Maybe they have suffered adversity in the past, or maybe they are going through some difficult time at the moment. Whatever it is that has stolen their happiness, Father we ask that your holy spirit touch their heart and affirm to them your love and care for them. Let them know Father they are not alone that you are with them, that you know what they are experiencing, and that your working behind the scenes to bring them out better and stronger than they were before. For you are a good God who wants to grant us the desires of our heart if we would stay in faith believing for your best in our lives. Father I pray your precious holy spirit, will give this person wisdom, sound judgement, encouragement, peace and joy, as they look to you for all their provisions in life. In Jesus name we pray amen.
