I need wisdom about something. You can pray for the

I am wondering about this myself and my situation. I guess that I am confused on why my prayers are not working although I always give thanks, praise God and pray without ceasing and pray for others and I get nothing.

As far as not being obedient being the cause of problems, an exception is Job,the Bible states "Job was a man perfect in all his ways.".Yet God let the devil afflict him. So there can be other factors besides disobedience.

Job didn't have the entire complete perfect written Word of God or Job could have commanded the devil to leave in Jesus Name and he could have claimed that he was healed by Jesus stripes couldn't he of? Job could have sung praises and thanks to Jesus for relief but Job didn't know God's Name Jesus did he?

I'm glad you realized when my reply was typed a million times,it was a computer thing. I was thinking you might think I didn't agree with your response, and went "off" out of anger and posted my point a million times for emphasis. {That wasn't the case}

Try and keep in mind I don't have all the answers to every problem that may arise but I do know how powerful it is to take no thought for your life and let Jesus do our thinking for us & believe me it is powerful! Can anything really bother you if you refuse to give it any thought or thoughts? If someone asks of you, simply ask yourself, what would Jesus do & do that instead of thinking about it.

If you are praying for a spouse or a child or many other things that are not necessarily an urgent need sometimes a person could have to wait years for a prayer to be answered. If you need physical healings even heart felt you could simply stop thinking about it in order for a healing to come quicker.

It is for me and my friend, he leaves soon. I am fine health-wise, I guess I wish I knew what the holdup was. I have listened to a lot of sermons and I am doing everything right.
