I need their to be something I can thrive on, I need a prayer that i can count on, I feel like I'm dying, and I need to be saved šŸ™šŸ˜‡

Something I can count on in misery.

Please...

We hear the desperation in your cry, and our hearts ache with yours. You are not alone in this battle, God sees you, He hears you, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The weight you carry is heavy, but the victory you seek is already won through the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no misery so deep that His love cannot reach it, no darkness so thick that His light cannot pierce it.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. You ask to be saved, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is drawing you to this truth. Salvation is not found in a prayer alone, but in the person of Jesus Christ, His death on the cross for your sins, His resurrection from the dead, and His lordship over your life. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. This is the first and greatest victory you can claim.

For the battles you face now, whether they be despair, loneliness, or the feeling of spiritual death, we declare that Christ has already overcome them. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!" (1 Corinthians 15:57). You are not dying; you are being refined. The pain you feel is not the end of your story, but the fire that is shaping you into His likeness. "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). Hold fast to these promises.

We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you there is nothing to thrive on. God’s Word is your daily bread, it is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on it day and night, and you will find strength. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Cling to Scripture, not just in crisis, but as your lifeline. Write verses on your heart, speak them aloud, and let them be the anchor in your storm.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is crying out for victory and salvation. Lord, You are the God who saves, the God who heals, and the God who restores. We ask that You would meet them in their misery and lift them from the pit. Break the chains of despair, Father, and replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

If they have not yet surrendered to You, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for Jesus. Draw them close, Lord, and let them know the power of Your love and grace. Forgive their sins, wash them clean, and make them new. Let them hear Your voice saying, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine" (Isaiah 43:1).

For the battles they face today, we declare Your victory over their life. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the power of Your resurrection. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your arms holding them tight. Provide them with godly community, believers who will stand with them, pray for them, and encourage them in Your truth.

Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them they are alone, that they are hopeless, or that they cannot thrive. Silence those voices with Your truth, and let Your Word be the lamp that guides their steps. Teach them to abide in You, for apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). But with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit in their life. Let them experience Your joy as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and Your peace as their guard (Philippians 4:7). May they rise up in the authority You have given them as Your child and walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

You are not without hope. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you if you have surrendered to Him (Romans 8:11). Even in your weakest moment, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do not give up. Do not lose heart. The God who parted the Red Sea, who shut the mouths of lions, and who raised the dead is the same God who is fighting for you today.

We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find support. Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, study the Word with you, and hold you accountable. If you are struggling with sin, whether it be addiction, bitterness, sexual immorality, or anything else, confess it and turn away from it. God’s grace is sufficient to cover you, but His holiness demands that we walk in repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Lastly, remember that your victory is not just for you. God has a purpose for your pain. He will use your testimony to encourage others and bring glory to His name. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Your story is not over. In fact, it is just beginning.

We hear the desperation in your words, and we want you to know you are not alone in this. When misery feels that deep, it can hollow out everything, even the things that once steadied you. That doesn’t mean your faith has failed; it means you are carrying an enormous weight, and you need a lifeline you can actually feel.

Right now, we are praying for you, and we will keep holding you before God. But here is something simple you can take hold of as a first step: when the darkness crowds in, try praying, ā€œLord Jesus, have mercy on me.ā€ Say it as often as you need to, when you wake, when the weight presses hardest, when words fail. It’s not a magic spell; it’s a way of turning your gaze back toward the One who stays close to the brokenhearted, even when you can’t sense it.

We also want to gently encourage you to let someone else in. A trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or your doctor, someone who can walk with you in person. God often wraps his arms around us through the people he places in our path, especially when we feel like we’re dying inside. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

The victory you long for often begins not with a rush of feeling better, but with the quiet truth that you are held, truly held, by a God who does not let you go. Your life is not a failure; it is a fight, and you are still in it. We are with you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person who is crying out for something solid to count on. Meet them in the misery that words can’t fully capture. Hold them steady when everything inside them feels undone. Send them a safe person who will remind them of your love, and let hope, even the smallest flicker of it, find a foothold. In your name, Amen.

God bless you with peace, love and light my friend. May miracles and blessings constantly touch your life. And so it is. Amen

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

You feel as if your bones are dried, and your hope is lost. It is no exaggeration to say that the sinner’s estate is as a valley of dead men’s bones, scattered, lifeless, and consumed. Your own confession is true; there is nothing in yourself to thrive upon, no strength, no merit, no power to lift you from despair. But listen, for there is a word that goes beyond the truth of your wretchedness: you say your hope is lost, yet God is the sinner’s hope, and He is not lost. He declares, ā€œBehold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land.ā€ This is a promise you may count on in the deepest misery, for it is sealed with the blood of the covenant.

You need something steadfast to cling to when all within is failing. There is an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which enters into that which is within the veil. That anchor is faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is not a flight of fancy but a divine gift, the root of all virtue, the very sinew of spiritual strength. It lays hold of the promise that ā€œthe just shall live by faith,ā€ and it will bear you up when the storms of conviction beat upon you. Look not to your own feelings, for they are shifting sand; look to the finished work of Christ, who endured the contradiction of sinners against Himself, that He might be a foundation rock for trembling souls.

I bid you gaze upon Majesty in misery. See your Lord in the hour of His deepest humiliation, mocked, scourged, and set at naught by cruel men. He suffered all this that He might be a sympathizing High Priest for you. In your anguish, He is near; He was a Man of Sorrows, well acquainted with grief, and He knows how to succor them that are tempted. Cast yourself upon Him, for He is able to save to the uttermost all that come unto God by Him.

The prayer you can count on is not a form of words, but the cry of a broken heart: ā€œGod be merciful to me, a sinner.ā€ Like Jacob, you may have planned and striven, but the true power lies in prayer. Lay hold of the angel of the covenant and say, ā€œI will not let You go, except You bless me.ā€ The Scripture says with one clear voice, ā€œWhosoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.ā€ This is a text to rest upon when all else shakes. Salvation is a free gift, not earned by your tears or amended life. Ho, every one that thirsts, come to the waters! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. This gospel is exactly suited to your poverty: it brings forgiveness for all guilt, deliverance from the power of sin, and adoption into the family of God. It ensures that the iron yoke of despair is broken and you are set free to serve the living God in newness of life.

Look, then, to Jesus and be saved. Cease from looking within, where there is only death, and fix your gaze upon the uplifted Savior. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man is lifted up, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. In this look there is life, victory, and a hope that triumphs over the grave. The Lord Himself has said, ā€œLook unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.ā€ Here is sovereignty and salvation wedded together: He who commands is He who saves. Trust His word, rest in His love, and you shall find that even in the valley of Achor there is a door of hope. Go now, and pour out your heart before Him; He will receive you graciously, and you shall know that the Lord alone is God, and that His mercy endures forever.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He makes his face shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May He turn his face towards you, and give you his peace.
AmenšŸ™
