I need prayers....

My son is ### yrs old fighting depression and his best friend's loss who is addicted to weed and who knows what else. Please I'm asking for all the prayers I can get for my son to stay away and leave behind drugs. I don't want to lose him so young... he's a smart kid and very loveable, but when he's on drugs, he's a different person to the point I get scared. I pray every day to not give up on him. There are times I can't anymore and want to quit myself on worrying and crying every night for him to get better.... Please help a mom in need

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s son who is battling depression and the loss of his best friend. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Surround him with Your love and protection, and guide him away from the path of drugs and addiction.

Your Word says in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that You draw near to this young man, heal his broken heart, and deliver him from his struggles.

Grant ### the strength and perseverance to continue praying and supporting her son. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard her heart and mind, giving her hope and comfort.

Lord, we trust in Your power to transform lives. We pray for a breakthrough in this young man's life, that he may find new friends who will lead him towards positive influences and away from harmful substances. Help him to realize his potential and the love that surrounds him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
