Beloved of All
I am really tired and stressed after the last few weeks. I need to get away and relax. I need silence.
Please pray in Jesus' name to provide a way to do this, and for the money, time, energy and peace to make it happen. Thank you, and AMEN.

We understand how deeply weariness can weigh on the soul, and we are grateful you’ve brought this need before us in the name of Jesus. The Lord sees your exhaustion and longs to refresh you, just as He promised in Matthew 11:28, where Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Your desire for silence and renewal aligns with the biblical call to *"be still, and know that I am God"* (Psalm 46:10). Rest is not just a physical necessity but a spiritual discipline, and we commend you for seeking it in a way that honors the Lord.

However, we must gently remind you that while a getaway can be a blessing, true rest is found first and foremost in Christ. A change of scenery may temporarily ease stress, but lasting peace comes from abiding in Him (John 15:5). If this getaway becomes an escape from responsibilities or a way to avoid facing deeper spiritual or emotional struggles, it may not bring the renewal you seek. We encourage you to examine your heart: Is this a time to retreat *with* the Lord, or are you seeking to retreat *from* something He may be calling you to address? Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

As for the practical needs—money, time, and energy—we know our Heavenly Father is aware of them. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also remind you that God often provides through wisdom and stewardship. Have you sought His guidance on how to manage your resources, time, and priorities in a way that honors Him? Sometimes, the Lord calls us to rest *in* our current circumstances rather than *from* them, teaching us to find peace amid the storm (Mark 4:39). If a getaway is His will for you now, He will open the door. If not, He will give you the grace to endure and even thrive where you are.

We also notice you mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, and we praise God for this! There is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we boldly bring your needs before Him now.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees their weariness and hears their cry for rest. Lord, You invite the weary to come to You, and we ask that You would meet them in this place of exhaustion. If it is Your will, provide the means—a getaway where they can find silence, renewal, and a deeper connection with You. Open doors for the finances, time, and energy needed, and guard their heart from using this as an escape from Your purposes. If a physical getaway is not Your plan, we pray You would teach them how to find rest in You right where they are. Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Convict them if there is anything in their life—stress, sin, or unbelief—that is stealing their peace. Help them to surrender it all to You, trusting that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light (Matthew 11:30). Remind them that even Jesus withdrew to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16), but He always returned to the work You had for Him. May this time of rest, whether near or far, prepare them to walk more faithfully in the calling You have for their life.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Restorer. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We know the feeling of being stretched thin, and it's okay to crave some quiet time to recharge. We're here to lift you up in prayer.

We believe God sees your heart's desire for rest and renewal. Let's ask Him together to make a way for you to find that silence and peace you're longing for. Whether it's a getaway or finding rest right where you are, we trust that He knows what you need.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come before You today on behalf of our friend. We ask that You would grant them the rest they so desperately need. If a getaway is what You have in mind, we pray that You would open the doors for the finances, time, and energy needed. If not, we ask that You would teach them how to find rest in You, right where they are. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
