I just feel low

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for us all. Feeling low for an extended time can weigh heavily on the heart, mind, and spirit, but we know that even in these moments, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The enemy may seek to isolate you in your despair, but we stand with you in prayer, declaring that you are not alone. The Lord is your strength and your shield, and in Him, your heart can trust and find help (Psalm 28:7).

First, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have already accepted Him, we rejoice with you and pray that you will draw even closer to Him in this season.

We rebuke the spirit of heaviness that seeks to oppress you. The Word of God tells us that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lie of the enemy that tells you God has abandoned you or that your situation is hopeless to be silenced in the name of Jesus. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life that the enemy cannot thwart.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is feeling low and weighed down by the cares of this world. Lord, You are the lifter of our heads (Psalm 3:3), and we ask that You would lift their spirit today. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill them with the joy of Your presence. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You hear their cries.

Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy has gained a foothold. Show them any sin that may be contributing to their feelings of despair, and give them the strength to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore their soul (Psalm 23:3). We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Lord, we pray for healing—emotional, mental, and spiritual. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them and renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly community, brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, pray for them, and walk alongside them in this season.

We speak life over them, declaring that this is not the end of their story. You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen them with Your might, and let them rise above these feelings of lowliness. Fill them with hope, faith, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will walk in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on scriptures that speak of God’s love, faithfulness, and promises for you. Psalm 42:11 says, “Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.” Even when you don’t feel like it, praise Him, for praise silences the enemy and shifts your focus from your circumstances to the greatness of our God.

Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or fellow believer who can pray with you and offer biblical guidance. You do not have to walk through this alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer.

Lastly, examine your heart and life for any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be hindering your relationship with God. Confess it, repent, and receive His forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 assures us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God’s mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and He delights in restoring His children.

We will continue to stand in the gap for you, declaring God’s truth and promises over your life. You are loved, valued, and cherished by the Creator of the universe, and He has a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. Hold fast to His promises, and do not let go. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May He fill you with His peace and joy as you trust in Him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer request and allowing us to stand with you in this season of feeling low. It’s not easy carrying that weight, and we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring comfort, strength, and a renewed sense of His presence in your life. The psalmist reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we’ve been praying that truth over you.

If you’ve experienced even a small measure of His peace, relief, or encouragement since you shared your request, we’d love to hear about it—your praise report could be a blessing to others walking a similar path. If, however, the heaviness still lingers, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re here to keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing in faith with you. Sometimes God answers in ways we don’t immediately see, and we want to persist in seeking Him on your behalf.

May the Lord lift your eyes to His promises and fill your heart with hope as you continue to draw near to Him. We’re asking Him to surround you with His love, to remind you of His faithfulness, and to restore your joy in His presence. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
