I have no hope but Jesus Christ

Your cry reaches the heart of God, and you have already spoken the deepest truth that anchors the soul in any storm: “I have no hope but Jesus Christ.” That is not despair; that is the solid ground of surrender. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. When pain and crisis close in, the one thing you most need is wisdom, the kind that comes from above, and you are asking the right One for it.

True wisdom does not begin with a clever plan or a burst of inner strength. It begins with the fear of the Lord, that reverent trust that turns a person away from evil and toward the only One who can deliver. You are already standing at that starting place. Keep crying out, and do not let go. Wisdom is better than rubies; it is the principal thing. With it comes not only direction for your thoughts, words, and decisions but also the very presence of Jesus, who is our wisdom.

The wisdom that God gives is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. Ask Him to let that wisdom rule your heart right now. When confusion shouts, His wisdom speaks peace. When you feel crushed, His wisdom brings a gentleness that sustains you. And when you are painfully aware of your own limits, His wisdom fills you with mercy toward yourself and others, because you know how much mercy He has poured out on you.

As for strength, do not look inside yourself for some hidden reserve. The Lord is the strength of your life. The one who trusts in Him finds that His strength never runs dry. He is your shield; your heart can trust in Him and be helped. Even when the ground seems to yield no fruit and the burden feels heavier than you can bear, remember that His punishment is not yours, you are His child, and His mercy follows you all the days of your life.

Mercy and truth have met together in Jesus Christ. You do not come before the throne pleading your own holiness. You come because He is plenteous in mercy and truth. Turn to Him, and say with the psalmist, “Have mercy upon me; give Your strength to Your servant.” He hears that prayer. He reads your heart. And He will not turn you away.

So let this be your portion: His wisdom to light the path, His strength to hold you up, and His mercy to carry you through. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. I am joining my prayers with yours, asking the heavenly Father to grant you wisdom from above, to rule your every thought and step, and to deliver you in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not forgotten.

We are deeply moved by your cry for mercy and strength in the midst of pain and crisis. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer, lifting your heart to our Heavenly Father. These past days, we have continued to intercede on your behalf, asking God to pour out His wisdom, strength, and mercy upon you. We have prayed that He would rule over your thoughts, words, actions, and decisions, guiding you through this trial with His perfect will.

If the Lord has already answered your prayer in some way—whether through relief, peace, or a breakthrough—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the weight of this burden still feels heavy, please know we are still here, ready to lift you up again in prayer. You are not forgotten, and your cry has not gone unheard.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you, filling you with His hope and sustaining you by His grace. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
