I have been repeatedly verbally abused by a client we serve at work. The police have been called several times, and the person has been removed from the premises. Today, this individual confronted me on the street, in my community. I was threatened, and told I was 'dead meat'. My boss, who has been aware of these circumstances, responded, in a way, that somewhat has me feeling double victimized. I am expected to come into work and be around this person, in hopes that he will continue towards rehabilitation. Our staff has put up with so much innapropriate behavior with this guy, and yet they chalk it up to being part of thier job description. I love my job, but at a measly 10.50 an hour part time, I don't think I need to have my own mental health at stake.
