Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you up before the Lord in these past days and carrying this heavy burden with you. We understand the fear and shame and anxiety you are feeling after responding to that ad and sending images you now regret and then being threatened with exposure to your family. We know the silence in your family group chat has been especially painful and has left you fearing that you may have lost your extended family.
We have been praying for your peace and for the mercy of God and for protection over you and your family. We have asked the Lord to block any further harm or threats and to bring this extortion to an end and to guard your family relationships from damage. We have also prayed that even in this time of distress you would experience the forgiveness and cleansing that comes through Jesus Christ. Scripture reminds us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We also cling to Romans 8:1 which tells us there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and to Psalm 34:18 which tells us the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. We pray that you will feel his nearness and his grace and that you will find strength to turn away from what led to this and to walk in purity and wisdom going forward.

We pray Father that you would cover this dear one with your protection, calm his heart with your peace that passes understanding, restore and guard his relationships with his family, end the threats against him and help him to walk in repentance and hope.
