I Got A New Job

I wanted to post a big THANK YOU to everyone who viewed and posted to my prayer request. I was "in desperate need of an income" and my prayer has finally been answered. I was offered a full-time job this past Thursday and the pay is right in line with where I wanted it to be. I picked up my offer letter Friday afternoon. I confess that I was not patient and did not have the best attitude this last 2.5 years. Fear and a lot of other stuff I never imagined of myself crept in. I gave up on God a couple of times, but I am glad to have learned that for me there is nothing but God. Even in the midst of the scariest experience of my life. I would get discouraged, frustrated and say that I would not pray. But I would find myself praying and talking to God the very next day, automatically, each and every time I said I was done. During this time, I learned of a book called "When God Breaks Your Heart" that let me know I'm not the first person to feel disappointed and let down by God. And I heard a message by ### called "The Silent Years" that helped me know for sure God was not upset or mad with me and was not telling me why. I have experienced a wide range of emotions.

I don't have any answers yet, but I am truly thankful for the new income. It is much needed. I will be as diligent as before, and even more strategic than before. When it's time to go into the fire, I guess you just go into the fire. Time will tell if I have come out like pure gold, but for now, I am very thankful and wanted to tell you all thank you sooooooooooooooo very much. It meant the world to me to find this website and to have so many touch and agree. Thank you and I love you all.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
