Thank you so much for taking time from your busy schedule to praying for me, may God bless you and in all that you do.We understand that you're going through a difficult situation, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address that the only way we can properly come to God is through the name of Jesus. It is written in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
You've mentioned that you don't want to think about your abuser and that you're experiencing mixed feelings. It's important to remember that God wants to heal you and restore your mind and emotions. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:2 WEB
Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We need to forgive as the Bible commands in Ephesians 4:32 WEB
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
However, forgiveness does not mean you should allow or ignore the abuse. Stand up for your rights and do what is necessary to prevent further abuse while not taking personal vengeance. Romans 12:19 WEB
Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord.
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with painful memories and mixed emotions. Lord, we ask You to heal their mind and heart, and to help erase the harmful thoughts and feelings connected to the abuse they've experienced. Help them to forgive and heal. Help them to be bold and stop the abuse. Give them Your peace that passes all understanding. Guide them through Your word and Your Holy Spirit. Help them to fix their eyes on You and on their eternal future.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Thank you so much for taking time from your busy schedule to praying for me, may God bless you and in all that you do.We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your burden to the Lord. We understand that it's hard to erase painful memories and mixed feelings, but we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. In John 14:13-14, Jesus says, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." Let's pray together, asking Jesus to help you overcome these feelings and to bring healing and peace to your heart. In Jesus' name, we pray.
