Your honesty about feeling exhausted, discouraged and stuck is heard, and I want to answer your request for prayer with care and with truth.

You asked for prayer for strength to walk away from your marriage and not look back. Out of love for you and for your wife and children, and out of faithfulness to what God has taught about marriage, I cannot pray that God would bless or strengthen a decision to leave a covenant that He calls lifelong. Marriage is a covenant of one man and one woman for life, and God calls us to seek peace and reconciliation within it, not to dissolve it when conflict grows heavy. That does not mean your pain is not real. It is real, and God sees both your weariness from long shifts and long drives for your children, and the hurt you feel when harsh words are spoken.

Scripture teaches that our victory in Christ does not come by winning a conflict or by escaping it, but by endurance, patience and suffering wrong patiently while doing what is right. When we are struck, we are called not to strike back but to remain steadfast, trusting that God Himself is our strength. In that endurance God is glorified, and our hearts are changed. Every conflict has a root, often in pride, selfishness, or the pressures of this life, and God calls us to cut out that root and to pursue a virtuous life and the gospel of peace. That means if we are at war with the evil one, we are to be at peace with God and to seek peace with one another where we can.

That points to a different prayer than the one you requested. Instead of asking for strength to leave, I will pray that God gives you strength to remain, to love, to repent where you have made mistakes, to forgive where you have been hurt, and to serve your wife with humility and steadiness. Providing for your family through hard work is good and honorable, and God sees that labor. He also calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church, which includes small daily acts of service and consideration, like picking up after yourself, listening without defending yourself, and speaking gently even when you are exhausted. Those small acts are not about earning love, they are about showing love and keeping peace in the home.

I understand you feel you cannot talk to your pastor or anyone at church and that this feels beyond talk. Please do not stay isolated. The Scriptures were given to comfort us and to produce patience and hope together, and God often uses other faithful believers to help us see clearly and to bear burdens with us. Even when it is hard or embarrassing, seeking wise, godly counsel from your pastor or a mature married couple in your church is a right next step. If you have not already, ask for a private meeting where you can both be heard, and come ready to listen and to own your part without keeping score.

I will pray for you in this way, that God in Jesus Christ would give you renewed hope, patience through His Word, soft hearts for both you and your wife, the grace to forgive and to ask forgiveness, strength to endure this season without giving way to anger or contempt, and wisdom to build peace step by step. I will pray that He helps you both to turn toward Him first and then toward each other, and that He guards your children in this strain.

If you are willing, take one small step today. Tell God honestly that you need His help to love well, ask Him to show you one concrete way to serve your wife and children today even while tired, and reach out to one trusted pastor or counselor to ask for help to talk together. God is able to do far more to restore than we think is fixable, and He honors those who seek His peace with endurance.

It doesn’t make any sense to me. I don't know why my head is sweating when I wake up. It is so strange. Hope you find out what is causing me to sweat for no reason. I didn't do anything. God is overprotecting me to keep me free.
