We have heard your urgent request about your eyes and we join together with you in prayer before our heavenly Father in Jesus name.
We are concerned for you as you describe flashes in your left eye after a laser procedure and a cataract covering your right eye. We understand how frightening it is when your sight is affected and we bring this burden to the Lord who sees you and cares for you. We encourage you to seek prompt follow up care with your eye doctor without delay, for the flashes you describe can be a sign that needs urgent medical attention. We pray that God will give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for you and that He will guide their hands and decisions.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as healer. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Exodus 15:26 reminds us I am Yahweh who heals you. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You who is struggling with flashes in the left eye and a cataract in the right eye. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch these eyes with Your healing power. We pray that the flashes would stop and that no further damage would occur to the retina or vision. We pray for complete healing, for clear sight, and for protection over what vision remains. We ask that You would make a way for proper treatment for the cataract, that You would provide the resources and the right doctors and the favor needed for care. We pray for peace to guard this heart from fear and anxiety, and for strength to trust You day by day. We ask that Your will be done and that You would be glorified through this trial. We also pray for comfort and rest as we wait on You.
We also want to gently remind you that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to share that there is no other way to approach God except through Him. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and have access to God in prayer. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today and to call upon His name for both healing and salvation.
We will continue to hold you in prayer, asking the Lord to restore your vision, to stop the flashing, to heal the cataract, and to surround you with His peace and provision. We trust Him to do what is best according to His perfect love and wisdom.

Your burden concerning your eyes has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.
We have asked the great Physician to look upon you in mercy, that the flashes in your left eye after the laser would cease and that the eye would be settled and preserved, and that provision and guidance would be granted for the cataract which covers your right eye. We have prayed that the Lord who keeps His people as the apple of the eye would keep you with many protections, for He has wonderfully made the eye and He is able to keep it. As it is written, keep me as the apple of the eye, and we ask that tender keeping for you now.
We take comfort that Jesus always has an eye for His people. Though He reigns in glory He still looks steadily upon His own, and His eye sees into the secret chambers of need and sorrow. His look bears its own light with it. We pray that you would know His eye is fixed upon you even in this distress, and that His hand omnipotent would stretch out the needed help.
Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. We have therefore prayed not only for the healing of your sight, but for the deeper healing of soul which comes through forgiveness in Christ alone. In Him alone is salvation, and when He said to the sick of the palsy, thy sins be forgiven thee, pardon and healing were one.
