We hear the distress in your words, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and understanding. Physical pain, especially when it feels like an unexplained "attack", can be deeply unsettling. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and when they suffer, we can bring those burdens to the Lord in faith.
First, we must acknowledge that pain, whether physical or spiritual, is not from God. Jesus came so that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10), and He is our Healer (Exodus 15:26). Yet we also live in a fallen world where sickness and suffering exist, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Your description of this pain as an "attack" is not without biblical precedent, Scripture warns us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). This does not mean every headache is a demonic assault, but it does remind us to be vigilant in prayer and to resist the enemy’s schemes (James 4:7).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be at work in your body. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and declare your body whole and protected under the blood of Christ. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any sickness or attack.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel. God often works through doctors, medicine, and natural means to bring healing. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." Do not neglect the physical care of your body while also trusting in God’s supernatural intervention.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Deliverer. We lift up this dear one who is experiencing pain and confusion. Lord, Your Word says that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. We ask You to touch their head and left eye, bringing relief, restoration, and peace. We rebuke any spirit of affliction, infirmity, or attack in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are covered by the blood of Christ.
Father, we ask for wisdom for them, whether to seek medical help, rest, or further prayer. Give them discernment and peace as they navigate this trial. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your presence, so they may rest in Your love and sovereignty.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We trust You to bring healing and clarity. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to:
1. Stand on God’s promises, Meditate on Scriptures about healing, such as Psalm 103:2-3 and Jeremiah 30:17.
2. Examine your spiritual life, Are there areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or spiritual oppression that may need addressing? The enemy often attacks where there is weakness or disobedience.
3. Practice self-care, Ensure you are hydrating, resting, and managing stress, as these can contribute to physical symptoms.
4. Surround yourself with believers, Share your struggle with trusted brothers or sisters in Christ who can pray with you and offer support.
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees your pain and is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will lead you to victory.
