In the Bible, God has many names that describe His character and attributes. In the same way that someone named “Joe” might also be called “father” or “husband” or “the boss,” God has names that describe Him and His relationship to His people.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew name for “God” was considered so holy that the people wouldn’t even say it. So, when God appeared to Moses in a burning bush and sent Him to lead the Israelites out of captivity, Moses asked God, “Who should I say sent me?” After all, He couldn’t breathe the name of God in public. God replied by saying, “Moses, my name is I Am.” In other words, “I am anything and everything you need. I am your joy. I am your peace. I am your strength. I am your victory. I am your way of escape. I am whatever you need.”

Today, God is saying the same thing to us! What is it that you need? The Great I Am, the Almighty God is on your side. He is ready to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Open your heart of faith to Him today and receive all the blessings He has in store for you!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for speaking to me through this. I saw the movie Prince of Egypt and i saw the part about when you talked to Moses. I saw how you held Moses in your arms through the smoke of fire. God you know what i need. I need your help and guidence. I need you, without you I am nothing. I feel as a failiure enough already with my Dad but i know that you will never leave me. Im sorry that i said that i had an emptyness in me because of what happened today. God dont leave me i need you. You are everything to me and i pray GOD that you are never gone in my life. Dont allow me to wonder away please LORD. i want you to protect my family and help us God. I see that every day we are getting farther from you and we are being destroyed. SO help us God, let us know that you are here with us always. GOd please have marcy on us because im sorry that im not a perfect daughter for you, i wish i was, im sorry GOd. please answer me in a dream like you used to, please. In Jesus name, AMEN!!!
