But with this you justify him letting me sit in this situation without even telling me why and how long more I have to sit like that.
All I can say is that God is love, and God only has our best interests at heart. This I know for a fact. Why are you in your present situation? This I cannot tell you, only God can tell you that. I am not God. I can theorize, but of what use would that be? Only God can give you a definite answer. Once again, all I can tell you is that you are important and valuable to Him, even if you do not believe it. You are unique, priceless and precious to God. I know this because the Bible says so, and the Bible is the word of God. God has not forgotten you my friend, have faith, God has never failed and will never fail. Trust in Him, He will not let you down.
And that's the whole issue: in my self I don't have strength to believe anymore because I have received so many disappointments already. But since I don't have that strength or ability in myself anymore, He won't answer my prayers to receive it either. So there is no way out. Whether it's my fault or not, it doesn't matter, in either case there is no way out.
Pray to God for strength, pray to God for His divine intervention. Place your faith wholly in Him, and He will not disappoint you. If however you pray to God and pray to Satan, how can you expect an answer? You cannot serve both God and Satan. They are complete opposites. You need to place your faith, or your hope of faith, in God. If you don't have faith, pray to God for faith, and read and study His word. His word is His bond, my friend, God has bound Himself by His word. His promises are real, His power endless. Trust in Him.
And that's the whole issue. I have already seen so many disappointments that I don't have strength to believe anymore. I wish I could but I can't. And without believing God won't help me. You have to stop blaming me for things which I am not able to change on my own. The whole point is that you have to understand that I am at the point where there is no way out. I am not God, therefore I don't have infinite faith. I am human, and my abilities are limited. I am not all-powerful. I cannot change my situation just by thinking/wishing it to change. I don't have that power that when I think of something it would happen like it is with God. You have to understand that right now coming out of my situation requires more faith than I have at the moment. But because of me not being able to believe enough, God would not give me that faith either. So you have to understand that there is no way out, and stop putting on my shoulders yoke that I am not able to carry.
Yes, you are not God. Yes, your faith is not infinite. But guess what? I am not God, and my faith isn't infinite either. When my faith wavers, when I begin to doubt, I simply look back on all the times that God has proven Himself and His love for mankind throughout history. I look at the persecuted Christians, and I realize that my problems and issues are not that big after all. They face death and worse daily for Christ's sake, and their faith remains stronger than ever. My problems seem insignificant compared to theirs. If they can endure, if they can persevere, if they can keep the faith, then so can I.
I understand that overcoming your situation requires more faith than you have right now. Read God's word, study His word, claim His promises, praise Him for His goodness. My friend, God will never give us a burden that we cannot carry. God will never ask of us that which we cannot do. He will never give us more than we can endure. You don't need to be all-powerful, God is all-powerful, and He is willing and able to help you.
You admitted yourself that it's not always easy to trust and have faith. You said that in this case I need to pray to be able to hold faith. Now if the prayer to have faith or to be able to hold faith is answered with no, then how am I supposed to hold it with my own strength? If I as a human have a limited amount of faith, and I start to run out of it and God is not giving me additional faith to be able to survive that, what am I supposed to do. You don't seem to have the ability to understand my situation.
Yes, it is not always easy to have faith, it is not always easy to believe, it is not always easy to trust. But if you pray to God for faith, and are unwilling to do what He has asked (e.g., read and study God's word), then how can He answer your request? I know of no other way to have faith.
I understand what it means to doubt, I understand what it means to have a lack of faith. But that is when we must trust, that is when we must cast all our cares and worries, our doubts and unbelief, on Him. We need to say, "Lord, I have no faith and I am having trouble believing. Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done. No matter what happens, Lord, I leave it all in Your hands." Leave it all in His hands, leave it all up to Him. He is more than capable of taking care of our problems.
Yes, the Bible too. But my point was that at best I can only read about His love. Whether it's people on this site or the Bible, it doesn't make the difference. The fact is that from the Bible or posts here I can only read about the love. I cannot receive the love. I cannot see the deeds done by God to me in love. If God really loves me then why doesn't His deeds show that? Why only the Bible tells about it but His deeds not showing that?
My friend, Job felt the same as you. "Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:" (Job 23:8-9) Things got so bad for Job that his own wife said to him, "Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die." (Job 2:9) But despite all that happened to him, he still trusted in God. He said, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:" (Job 13:15) And look what happened to him. "The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part." (Job 42:12) God blessed him and rewarded him for his faith. Was it easy? No. But he trusted despite everything that happened and God rewarded him for it. So trust in God, my friend, and He will reward you.
Because 1) God has not shown me His love in deeds, but only in words, but magic doesn't care about loving me, they would do my request anyway, just because the ritual has been performed and the energy has been sent on its way 2) Prayers depend on the will of God, and you never know what's His will, in magic, you use your own energy, energy of stones and so on which starts to do things immediately without caring what God thinks of it. God can answer prayers with later because He sees that after that many years I would meet a better person to my wife than I would right now. Demons from the other hand are happy with what I offer to them in return and take and offer me the first match even if it's not a perfect one, because if they answer my request fast, I get back to them with a new "deal" fast. Magic doesn't waste its time so much on whether I believe or not or whether something better could come later or whether it's the will of God. It just does what is asked and that's it. To prove that, there are enough stories where teenagers try to summon a demon in a party, without any firm belief in these things and just do the ritual for fun to see what happens, and then the demon appears. It's like taking over Jericho - people could either wait for 7 days till God destroys it or if people at that time knew how to make a nuclear bomb they could have carried a nuclear bomb to the city, and destroyed it independently from God's plan.
All power comes from God. God is the source of all power. Satan has no power except what God allows him. (Luke 4:6) That is what Satan forgot in his pride, that all his power came from God, and that without God he had no power. Prayer depends upon the will of God. When we pray we surrender our free will to God, we ask God that His will, not ours, be done. But when God answers our prayers in a way that we were not expecting, He does it because He loves us and only wants the very best for us.
I am praying for you, my friend. GBY!
