Beloved of All
A good reason: We as Christians should be examples of Christ/God. Since God says no then we must also say no because we have to represent God truthfully and helping everyone who asks help does not do that. It's for beggar's best interest - to keep him from thinking that he matters to God. It's for purpose of letting others know truth about God.what good reason do we have for saying no?
So it means God doesn't have to do to others as He would like others to do to him? And God doesn't have to keep any of those. The 10 Commandments were for us, not God.
So can I have sex with my girlfriend before getting married then? It would violate the commandment that disallowed adultery but if it's done out of love for her it would not conflict with those two commandments. Also, according to this, is it fine if I watch porn and masturbate while I don't have a girlfriend yet? I can still love God while doing that and loving my neighbor would be out of question because I would be doing it alone and thus not hurting anyone. And we are no longer bound by the 10 Commandments anyway.
Because then He can watch us suffering. And since as you just said the 10 Commandments are not for Him, He can legally do so.I already told you why God allows suffering.
Because since He is all-powerful He does not need to keep the 10 Commandments Himself. He could torture us if He wanted to and no one would do anything. How has He abused His power?
But He also isn't doing anything to reduce it despite the fact that some have been suffering for years, because He does not have enough compassion - if He had, I would not be complaining in this thread. So I have proved my statement. So God wanted to look like a good guy, but He also wanted suffering so He came up with a brilliant idea, He created Satan to rebel against Him and to become the bad guy so that He can leave everything to him. It's very clever, now everyone thinks that Satan is the cause of suffering, and no one blames God. But no one manages to understand that God actually created Satan so that He could wash His hands clean, but still have the job of suffering done. Most of our suffering isn't God's doing,
Yes, we should. And it's very easy - I have received nothing, therefore I also have nothing to reflect. As such, since God is love, should we not reflect His love to others?
Yes, if it contains lies and false promises and reading those doesn't give anything but more disappointment. How is it God's fault that you find the Bible boring?
I am not going to do anything at all on my part before I am convinced by God by His deeds (and not just words) that there is a point in having faith/believing/obeying.My friend, if you don't do your part, God will not do His part.
A job is easy - I send a CV, I get to know if they accepted or rejected me. But what can I do if I am not convinced that Jesus cares for me and if reading and hearing the Bible doesn't convince me either? I don't have so much difficulty with believing that God exists but rather that He cares/loves me. And this only His deeds can convince me. Christians and the Bible can tell me that God loves me and cares for me but as long as God has not shown it in deeds I will not believe it and that's all. And as long as I am not convinced that He cares about me I will not obey Him. So it's really up to Him. I or you can't do anything about it.Let me explain. If you ask God for a job, but don't bother to look for a job, how can God give you a job?
I did that a lot when I still was still a Christian. But haven't done in the last 6-8 months or so.But have you ever said, "Not my will, but Thine be done?"
Yes, as I already mentioned before in this post. I don't have difficulties with believing He exists but rather that He cares for me. And why should I joyfully serve someone who doesn't even care about me? And about Lord and Father Lucifer, the Almighty God of this world, to whom I sold my soul: I just want to learn to know more about Him and His demons and about black magic. I believe that He has the power to help me and to give Him motivation to help me I promised Him my soul if He helps me out so in a few coming months I'll see. And even if He doesn't answer me I will still stay with Him, because now I live in a dormitory where I can't really perform satanic rituals which require candles and blood, but I will be moving to my own apartment soon where no one is disturbing me and I can truly dedicate my life to Satan.Do you know what I find interesting? You have enough faith to believe in the Devil, but you say you have no faith in God.
Then He shouldn't expect me to trust Him and either find someone else or prove to me that He is worth putting my trust in Him. And He should do it with deeds and not with words of the Bible or other Christians.Once again, is it easy to trust when you do not comprehend the reasons? No
Even if Jesus would appear to me I would refuse to obey Him before He has convinced me that He has planned to do anything about my current situation. The Bible says that it is better to believe without seeing, then to believe having seen. God wants us to have faith in Him and in His promises.
But why? Because if you have known the love and still reject it, your sufferings will be worse in Hell.It is better to have never known the love of God then to have known the love of God and rejected it.
It should be possible. Because God created free will. And if I am not able to go to hell just because I made the decision to accept Jesus about 4 years ago, it's not free will anymore. My will is not to be in the same place with God who does not care about my sufferings, and if I am still made to go to heaven then it's violating my free will. But even if I would go to heaven it wouldn't be that bad. I could do there to Jesus everything that was done to him when he was nailed to the cross. I would spit in His face. And shout with a loud voice that "Look, here comes the God who didn't care about me." And every time they make me sing a worship song I would sing that song to the Devil instead of to show them that God is no authority in my eyes. I would pee on His throne. I would punch God on His face and kick Him off His throne and show my middle finger to Him when He starts to rebuke me. I would pour petrol on His throne and set it on fire so that it wouldn't be as white as the Bible described it to be.But if you truly and sincerely do not want it, God will not force it on you. If you, of your own free will, truly reject God in your heart and mind, then yes, I suppose it is possible that you can lose your salvation.
So I can come out of hell if I want and still get to heaven? Can Satan do that also?I believe that even in hell a person can repent and be granted forgiveness and salvation.
What do you think of these:
Obadiah 1:16 It will be as if the evil “had never been.”
Psalm 92:7 “… shall be destroyed forever.”
Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
2 Thessalonians 1:9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,
Jude 1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
Matthew 25:41 Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Revelation 14:11, "And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever."
But it would raise the question: why would kids in Africa get food for free while we have to pay for it? Giving it to them for free while we have to pay is not fair. From the other hand, you'd have to give them for free because they won't be able to afford it.The reason that they don't do this is because of greed and a general lack of willingness to share with those in need.
No, because then they would get for free something for which I have to work and pay for. Those in Africa wouldn't work for food anyway. They don't do anything on their part. They don't work to earn that food. They just want us to donate that food. Just look at those refugees in Europe. They get around €1000 from the government monthly and they don't even intend to go to work. But when the internet is not fast enough or the area they are located at does not have enough women, they are quick to complain. But what the West has in excess, do you not think that we should share what we don't need?
