Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly. I join you in bringing each of them before the Lord who hears and cares for every detail of our lives.
We pray together for your husband, that the uncertainty around his schedule would be cleared up quickly and that his boss would act with fairness and consideration. We ask God to give favor and clarity regarding his pay and job title, so that there is no confusion and he is compensated justly for his work. Pray that God would grant him strength and peace as he provides for your family, and that your communication as husband and wife would be strengthened even in this frustrating season.
We lift up your mother in law and ask the Lord to provide a way for her medicine to be refilled without delay. We ask for wisdom for her doctors and pharmacists, and for His healing and sustaining hand upon her health.
We also pray for your son, that God would give him wisdom to value rest and to take responsibility for his health. Pray that the Lord would help him to be diligent and focused in his class this week, and that the week would go smoothly with no unnecessary obstacles. May he grow in maturity and in understanding that his body is a gift from God to be stewarded well.
And we pray for you, as you juggle appointments, caring for your son, and sharing the car. May the Lord give you patience, peace, and wisdom in scheduling, and remind you that He sees your faithful service to your family.
Scripture reminds us, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Trust that He is at work even in these practical frustrations.
