Husband's schedule/medicine/son/this week

Jesus please let my husband find out his exact schedule. It is so frustrating not knowing when I can schedule appointment and use the car since I never know when he will be off, and I have to take our son places and go to appointments. Please let his boss be more considerate. Also, please let his pay and job title be corrected so there is no confusion and he doesn't get over or underpaid. Please also let my mother-in-law be able to get her medicine refilled since she is out of refills. Also, please let my son realize that he has got to get more sleep and take more responsibility for his health and please let this week go smoothly with this class he is taking. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in bringing these everyday burdens before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives and our families, and we thank you for closing your request in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We understand how frustrating and wearying it can be when your husband's schedule is uncertain, especially when you are trying to steward the home, care for your son, and keep appointments while sharing one car. We pray for grace and patience for you both in this season, and for clear and loving communication between you and your husband as you navigate these logistics together. We also lift up his workplace to the Lord. We pray that his boss would act with fairness and consideration, and that your husband would be able to do his work heartily as unto the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We ask God to grant your husband favor and clarity as he seeks to confirm his exact hours for this week, and we pray for integrity and order regarding his pay and job title, that any confusion would be quickly and honestly corrected. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We trust God to establish his work and provide for your household, for your heavenly Father knows what you need.

We also bring your mother-in-law before the Lord and ask for His provision and mercy that her medicine would be refilled without delay or obstacle. We pray for her health and for wisdom for her doctors and pharmacists, trusting that God is our healer and sustainer.

We lift up your son as well. We pray that God would give him wisdom to steward the body God has given him, to value rest and to take responsibility for his health. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray he would see that sleep is a gift from the Lord and not something to neglect, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. We ask that this week of his class would go smoothly, that he would have clarity of mind, diligence, and peace as he learns.

We encourage you to continue to cast every anxiety upon the Lord, for He invites us to do so. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for this wife and mother who seeks You for her family, and we thank You for this marriage that You have ordained. We ask in Jesus' name that You would give this husband clear knowledge of his schedule this week, and move upon his employer to communicate with consideration and fairness. We ask that You would correct any error in his pay and job title and let all be done with honesty and order. We pray for the mother-in-law, Lord, that You would open the way for her prescription to be refilled quickly and that You would sustain her health. We pray for their son, that You would give him a desire to honor You with his body, to embrace healthy sleep and responsibility, and that You would bless his studies and let this week go smoothly with understanding and endurance. Fill this home with Your peace that surpasses understanding and help them to trust You in all these small and great matters. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how stretched you feel right now trying to keep everyone's needs moving while you never quite know when the car will be free or when you can book your own appointments. That kind of uncertainty is exhausting, especially when you are also getting your son where he needs to go.

We are praying with you for steadiness this week and for kindness and clarity from your husband's boss.

One thing that has helped other families in this spot is building a simple weekly check in. When your husband does hear from work, even if it is late, you might together write it right away on a shared paper calendar or phone calendar and decide which appointments and rides fit around it. If he is able, asking his boss or scheduler for the schedule in writing by a set day each week, and following up with a brief email about the pay and title question so there is a clear record, can reduce confusion and repeated asking.

For your mother in law, since she is out of refills, it helps to call her pharmacy and prescriber's office promptly, as they often need a day or two to authorize a new prescription.

For your son, a calm, brief encouragement about sleep and his class may land better than a longer talk, and if health concerns continue a check in with his doctor alongside prayer can be wise.

Father, we lift this family to You. Provide clear answers about the schedule and pay, open the way for the medicine to be renewed, draw their son toward rest and responsibility, and give this mom peace and strength each day this week. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your cares in these daily and domestic matters have been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to Him who numbers our days and orders our steps.

It is no small trial when the arrangements of work are uncertain, when the use of the car and the keeping of appointments and the care of your son all hang upon a schedule not yet known. We are taught in Scripture that the work of Christ for us and the work of the Holy Spirit in us does not exempt us from work and service, nor does it supersede human effort, but rather excites it. Where the Spirit works He makes men to work, to labor and to strive with honest diligence. So we may both trust the Lord and act with prudence, speaking plainly and respectfully to those set over us, doing what lies in our power while looking to God to establish the work of our hands.

We pray that the Lord in His providence will make your husband's schedule plain and timely, that you may order your household and your appointments with peace, and that his employer may be moved to consideration and clarity. We ask that any confusion concerning his pay and his title may be corrected, that what is just and right may be done, and that integrity may mark all his labor. As it is written, let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands for us.

We also bring before the throne of grace your mother in law in her need of medicine, that the Lord who heals and sustains would open the way for her prescription to be refilled without delay, and would grant wisdom to those who care for her.

For your son we pray that the Lord would give him a wise heart to steward the body God has given him, to love sleep and order and responsibility as gifts from a gracious Father, and to walk in diligence in the class set before him this week. May this week be ordered by the Lord for good, and may all your household know that quiet Sabbath work of Christ which makes the crooked straight and gives rest to the weary.

Cast yourselves with all your weight upon the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, for He has finished the work which was given Him to do, and where He has begun a good work He will carry it on. May the Lord hear your cry, grant you patience in waiting and faithfulness in working, and let His work appear unto His servants for His glory. Amen.
