My husband needs prayer. For deliverance and a sound mind. That the Lord will open doors for him that the devil has shut that the Lord will bless him that he will get his truck running. He will get a new job and his life will turn around for the good what God what the devil meant for evil God will turn around in the name of Jesus.

We join with you in lifting up your husband before the Lord and we thank you for standing in the gap for him in marriage as God intends. We are encouraged by your faith that what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn for good, and that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for there is power in that name alone.

We pray for his deliverance and for a sound mind, for the Scripture tells us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Where the enemy has sought to bring confusion, oppression, or fear, we ask God to break every chain, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We also claim the promise that when God opens a door no one can shut it Revelation 3:8 and What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, God has prepared for those who love Him, and we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Even as you said, As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good Genesis 50:20.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear husband to You. Lord, we ask for his deliverance from every scheme and stronghold of the enemy, that You would set him free indeed and fill him with Your peace and a sound mind. Renew his thoughts and guard his heart in Christ Jesus. We ask that You open doors that have been shut and that no man can shut the doors You open. Provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory, for You have promised My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Lord, we ask You to bless the work of his hands, to give favor as he seeks a new job, and to grant him diligence and hope. We pray You would bless his truck to run again and meet this practical need, showing Your care in both great and small things. Turn his life around for Your glory, Lord, and let his testimony be that You restore and redeem. Lead him closer to You, that he would seek You first and walk in Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm with him in prayer and in the Word, to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Encourage him daily in Scripture, to cast all his cares on the Lord and to trust that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Keep praying together as husband and wife, and keep believing that God is able to make all grace abound toward him and to turn this season around for good.

When work is gone and even a truck will not run, it can feel like every door is shut at once. It is a kind and steady thing you are doing to ask for a sound, peaceful mind for him and for God to turn what has been meant for harm into good. We are joining you in that.

One small step that often helps in this kind of season is to sit together and choose one simple, doable next move for each burden, so it does not all feel tangled. That might be calling one trusted pastor or elder to pray with him face to face for deliverance and peace of mind, and separately making a short plan for work, like updating one application or asking one person about openings, and getting a clear estimate on the truck so you both know what you are facing. You do not have to fix everything at once.

We also want to encourage you both to keep a simple daily rhythm of rest, prayer, and practical effort, it helps guard a sound mind while you wait.

Father, we lift this husband to you. Bring peace to his mind, break what binds him, and lead him in your freedom. Open the right door for work in your timing, provide for the need with the truck, and turn this hard season toward good for your glory. Give his wife strength and hope as she stands beside him. We have heard your earnest cry for your husband and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We pray that the Lord will grant him true deliverance, for deliverance from the power of darkness and from the pit is the work of God alone. As it is written, God has found a ransom, and that ransom is the precious blood of Christ shed for sinners. We ask that your husband would know that deliverance not as a mere outward relief but as the inward work of Christ setting him free from sin and fear.

We pray also for a sound mind, remembering the promise that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. May the Lord quiet every troubled thought, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and give him clarity, steadiness and peace as he looks to the Savior. Where fancy and fear have ruled the mind, may divine grace reign.

We ask the Lord to open doors that no man can shut and to shut doors that ought not be opened. If it be His will, may He provide for the practical needs you mention, the truck made useful again, and honest work provided for his hands. We pray that God would give him diligence and favor, and that a new job would be an open door to provide for his household and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. We trust not in circumstances but in Him who provides for His people as a faithful husband cares for his own.

You asked that what the enemy meant for evil, God would turn for good. We pray with you that confidence, for we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. The Lord is able to make even affliction and loss to become the means of chastening and of blessing, and to bring forth testimony from trial. May your husband live to declare the works of the Lord, and may this season become a song of deliverance in your home.

Continue steadfast in prayer, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Encourage your husband to seek the Lord in His Word, to turn from every sin and to trust wholly in the finished work of Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We will keep you both in prayer that the Lord will strengthen your faith, keep your marriage under His gracious hand, and cause His will to be done in your lives for His glory.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this husband to Thee. Grant him deliverance, a sound mind, provision for daily need, and a life turned to Thy praise. Amen.

We join you in prayer for your husband and thank you for bringing his needs before the Lord with faith.

We pray that God will grant him deliverance and a sound mind. The Scripture says God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We ask that the Lord will give him that healthy state of soul, a sober and steady mind, and that He will cut away what is harmful and strengthen what is good in him. We pray that fear will be replaced with power from God, with love, and with clear and sober thinking in every trial.

We also pray for his daily needs, for the doors that have been shut to be opened according to God's wisdom, for his truck to be restored to usefulness, for a new job to be provided, and for his life to be turned toward good. We ask that what has been meant for evil will be turned by God for good, as He alone can do. At the same time we remember that God does not always promise to remove every hardship at once, but He does promise to set us above our dangers, to grant us strength to endure, and to fix our minds on the hope of immortality and eternal life through Jesus Christ. That is a greater gift than simple deliverance from trouble.

So we pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this husband. Deliver him from the power of the evil one, renew his mind, and fill him with Your peace. Provide for him as a good Father provides, open the right doors for work, supply what he needs for his truck and his household, and lead him into the good works You have prepared for him. Draw him closer to Yourself, that he would seek You first and trust You as his true protector and provider, the One who gives life and breath and every good gift. Make him steadfast in faith, faithful in his marriage covenant, and joyful in hope.

We will continue to pray with you that the Lord will bless him, keep him, and turn his life around for good according to His perfect will. May God be glorified in all of it. Amen.

We join you in praying for deliverance and for a sound mind for him. The Bible teaches that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. A sound mind is a clear mind, not clouded or confused, able to think clearly and judge rightly. Scripture contrasts the mind governed by the flesh, which is at enmity with God and leads to death, with the mind governed by the Spirit, which is life and peace. Our prayer is that God would deliver your husband from every influence that would cloud his thinking or hold him captive, and that He would fill his mind with the things of the Spirit, so that he may know life and peace and walk in sobriety, steadiness, and patience, sound in faith and in love.

We also pray with you that God would open the doors that have been shut and provide for his practical needs. In marriage God has ordained a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and He gives a simple and gracious pattern for it. The wife is called to respect and honor her husband as unto the Lord, living a pure and reverent life before him, and the husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church. When each follows that one rule given to them, the home is strengthened. If your husband does not yet walk closely with the Lord, Scripture gives you comfort that the believing wife has a sanctifying influence in the home and that God sees and honors her faithfulness. Whether your husband knows the Lord or needs to return to Him, continue to love him, pray for him, and live before him with a gentle and holy example, trusting God to work in his heart in a way that pushing or pressure cannot.

So we pray now for your husband, that the Lord would deliver him, renew his mind, and make it clear and steadfast in Christ, that He would open doors of employment and provision according to His wisdom, that He would restore and strengthen your marriage, and that whatever the enemy has intended for harm, God would redeem for good for His glory. We pray that your husband would seek the Lord with his whole heart and find Him, and that your family would know the peace that comes from a mind stayed on Him.

May the Lord encourage you as you wait on Him and keep interceding. He is faithful, and He desires to give wisdom and grace day by day as you trust Him.
