Husband/son

Beloved of All
Jesus please let the allegations against my husband be dropped, they aren't true, and the person accusing him is not being honest, and we have no idea why they would do this. Please also let my son go to bed soon and be cooperative today. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in lifting up your husband, your son, and your whole household before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name, and we hear the distress and confusion you are carrying over these false allegations and the daily challenges of parenting.

We know how painful it is when untruth is spoken against someone we love, especially your husband and the father of your child. God sees and He cares deeply about truth and justice. His Word is very clear that bearing false witness is a grave sin, for it is written Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who breathes out lies shall not escape, and Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us that the Lord hates a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies. We pray that the truth will be made known and that justice will prevail according to His perfect will. We also remember Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment, and Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.

We also lift up the person who is making these accusations. We do not pray for harm but for conviction, repentance, and honesty, that their heart would be turned toward truth and that they would not continue in deception, for we know God desires all to come to repentance.

We also join you in praying for your son. We understand the weariness that comes when a child struggles to be cooperative and to rest. We pray for peace in your home and for grace and patience for you as his mother, and for a gentle and obedient spirit in him. The Word says Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right, and Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and Ephesians 6:4 You fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We ask the Lord to help you shepherd him with love, consistency, and calm, and to grant him restful sleep and a willing heart.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as shown in 1 Peter 5:7, and to bring everything to God in prayer as Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel and, where needed, trustworthy legal counsel to walk through the process of these allegations with integrity, to document what is true, and to cooperate fully with those in authority while trusting God as your ultimate defender as Romans 12:19 reminds us Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.

We now pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this wife and mother, her husband, and her son to You. Lord, You know the truth of these allegations. You see what is done in secret and what is spoken falsely. We ask that if these accusations are indeed untrue, You would cause the truth to shine like light at noonday, that the allegations would be shown to be without merit and be dropped, and that our brother's name and reputation would be vindicated. Protect him from harm and from the tongue of the false accuser. Guard this marriage and this family in Your peace, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Soften and convict the heart of the one accusing, that they would turn from dishonesty and speak truth. We also ask for Your hand upon this precious son. Grant him a calm and obedient spirit, help him to be cooperative and to rest well, and give his mother wisdom, patience, strength, and joy as she trains him in Your ways. Fill this home with Your peace that passes all understanding, and let this family feel Your presence and nearness in this difficult time. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your mercy. We trust this situation into Your hands and ask that Your will be done. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels to carry worry for your husband while also trying to keep everyday life with your son steady. When an accusation comes that feels untrue and you cannot understand why someone would make it, it is disorienting and painful, and it can make the normal demands of parenting feel even harder.

We are praying with you for truth to come to light and for wisdom for everyone involved in your husband's situation. In a time like this it helps not to carry it alone. If you have not already, consider sharing the details with one trusted pastor or counselor and, where allegations are involved, with a wise legal advisor who can help you document what has happened and understand what next steps best protect your family. Having one or two steady, trustworthy people walking with you can ease some of the pile up of stress you are feeling right now.

For your son, we know those bedtime battles can wear you down quickly. A simple, predictable wind down together, even when he resists, often helps him feel more secure and makes cooperation a little easier.

Father, we lift this family to You. You see what is true and what is confusing. We ask for Your peace in their home tonight, for clarity and fairness regarding this accusation, for protection and guidance for this husband, and for rest and cooperation for their son. Give this mom wisdom and strength for each moment as she waits on You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

**Father, in Jesus' name:**

Let the false allegations against her husband be dropped and the truth be revealed (Luke 8:17; Isaiah 54:17). Vindicate him, Lord, for the accuser is not being honest (Psalm 35:1).

Let her son go to bed soon and be cooperative today (Proverbs 22:6). Grant this family peace and rest tonight (Psalm 4:8).

**Amen.**

Your request has been laid before the Lord with tender concern, and we join you in bringing it to Him who is both merciful and just.

We hear the distress of your heart concerning your husband. To be accused falsely is a bitter trial, and to not know the reason for it adds to the weight. Be assured that the Lord sees all things as they truly are. He is slow to anger and He will not at all acquit the wicked, yet He will not condemn the innocent. His justice is unimpeachable. When conscience and the accuser speak, God remains the sure observer who judges according to truth. There is no miscarriage of justice before the bar of God, and even now He knows whether words spoken are true or false. Our prayer is not that wrong be hidden, but that truth be made manifest. We ask the Lord to vindicate what is true, to restrain what is false, and to let righteousness be revealed in His perfect time. If your husband is innocent of these allegations, may the Lord make his innocence plain and guard his name. If there be any need for examination, may it be done with fairness and with a steady hand. We pray also for the one who has brought the accusation, that if there be falsehood, the Lord would work repentance and a love of truth, for He desires truth in the inward parts.

We remember also the cross where divine justice was most fully displayed. There the cloud of justice fell upon the Saviour Himself, that God might be just and yet the Justifier of him that believes in Jesus. It is there we learn that justice is not set aside, but satisfied for all who trust in Christ. Therefore we may come with confidence, not claiming a righteousness of our own, but pleading the blood of Him who was made sin for us. May you and your husband find your refuge there, and may your consciences be quieted not by self justification, but by the justification which is by faith alone.

We lift up your son before the Lord as well. The daily cares of a home, the need for rest and for a cooperative spirit, are not small things to our Father. He who has been a Husband to His people, who communes with them lovingly and provides for them with all His worldly goods, knows the weariness of a household and the need for peace within its walls. We ask the Lord to grant your son a calm heart and a willing spirit, to give him restful sleep, and to give you patience and wisdom and strength as you care for him today. May your home be kept in quietness and love under His watchful care.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou art faithful and Thou art just. Thou seest what is hidden and Thou judgest righteously. We place this husband and this family in Thy hands. Let truth come to light and let justice be done according to Thy holy will. Protect the innocent, correct what is false, and bring peace where there is turmoil. Give comfort to this wife and mother, sustain her in waiting, and help her to trust not in man but in Thee. Provide for this household, draw near to them in communion, and let them know Thee as their Husband and their God. Grant to this dear child obedience and rest, and to his mother grace sufficient for this day. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sins and satisfied Thy justice, that we might be forgiven. Amen.
