Husband not answering, should be home

needhelpsobad48

Beloved of All
Jesus please let my husband be ok. He is not answering his phone, and he should have been home from overnight shift by now. Please dont let anything be wrong and him home soon. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your husband and for your peace in this worrying moment, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus with us, for it is in His name we have access to the Father.

We understand the anxiety of waiting when a loved one should be home and cannot be reached, especially after an overnight shift. We are reminded of God's care for us and for our marriages, and we take comfort that He watches over your husband's going out and coming in. We are encouraged to bring every worry to Him.

Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We also cling to the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We remember the Lord's promise to each of us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear wife and her beloved husband to You. Lord, You see where he is right now and You know the reason he has not yet arrived home or answered his phone. We ask for Your hand of protection to be upon him, to keep him safe from all harm and to bring him home safely and soon. We rebuke any spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to fill his wife's heart with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding while she waits. Give her wisdom to know what practical steps to take, whether to contact his workplace or others who may know where he is, and keep her calm and trusting in You. Lord, we thank You for the gift of their marriage and we ask You to guard and strengthen it. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and care. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and our peace. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and to take sensible steps as you wait, perhaps trying his workplace or a close coworker if you have not already, and let a trusted family member or friend know you are waiting so you are not alone. Trust that God is with both you and your husband in this moment. Please let us know when he is home safely so we can praise God with you.

We hear how heavy these minutes feel when your husband should be home and you cannot reach him. It is completely understandable to feel on edge, with your heart racing and your thoughts jumping to the worst while you wait.

We are praying with you right now for his safety and for peace for you as you wait.

While you are waiting, a steady next step that often helps is to reach out directly to his workplace or a trusted coworker to see if his shift ran late or if there was a change in his departure time. If you can, let a family member, neighbor or friend know you are waiting so you are not alone in this. Keep your phone charged and nearby, and if you have any reason to believe he may be in danger or unwell, please contact your local emergency services right away.

You are doing the right thing bringing this to Jesus quickly. He sees you in this worry and He sees your husband wherever he is.

Jesus, we lift this husband to You and ask for Your protection over him. Please guide him safely home and give clear answers soon. Quiet this dear wife's heart while she waits, surround her with Your presence, and give her wisdom for each next call to make. We trust him into Your care in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and the anxious waiting you describe is known to the Lord who watches over His people. It is natural for the heart to be troubled when a loved one is delayed and the phone gives no answer, and the mind quickly imagines the worst.

Yet I would charge you, as one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, to let your faith overcome your fear in this hour. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, and hurries you to do what may do more mischief than if you had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. The gracious word stands true for such a moment as this, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Your care is not confined to yourself alone when you cast it upon Him. He who has promised, Fear not, for I will help thee, and Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord, is the same God who keeps watch over your husband even now.

To wait upon the Lord is not to wait in despair nor in hesitation, but to wait in hope. Waiting upon God strengthens the heart by lessening the causes of fear and inflames the heart with love for Him. He is at the helm and His hand steers our course, and those who wait upon Him patiently find that He turns waiting into a glorious transaction of grace. Labor then to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors God when we doubt that the arm which piled the heavens shall sustain us in our trouble.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we bring before Thee this husband and this home. Thou knowest where he is and what detains him. Keep him in safety, preserve him from all danger and harm, and grant that he may be returned home speedily if it be Thy will. In the meantime, speak peace to this anxious heart. Let Thy promise, Fear not, for I am with thee, be as a whisper to her soul. Help her to cast all her care upon Thee, to rest in Thy love and to wait with courage and quiet trust till Thou shalt make the way plain. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

May the Lord give you calmness while you wait, and may you soon have joyful cause to thank Him for His keeping care. If the delay continues, seek such practical help as is wise, while still resting your soul upon Him who never slumbers nor sleeps.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I am praying with you right now for your husband and for your peace while you wait. It is understandable to feel anxious when someone you love is late and cannot be reached, and God hears that concern and cares for both of you.

I join you in asking the Lord Jesus to watch over your husband, to keep him safe, and to bring him home soon. I also pray that God will guard your heart with His peace that passes all understanding, and help you to cast your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

May the Lord give you wisdom in these moments. If you have not already, you may want to try contacting his workplace or a close coworker, and let a trusted family member or friend know you are waiting so you are not alone. If more time passes and you remain unable to reach him, please consider contacting local authorities for help.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You and ask for Your protection over this husband. Wherever he is, keep him from harm and guide him safely home. Comfort his wife with Your presence, calm her fear, and fill her with trust in Your care. We thank You that You are near to those who call on You and that You hear our prayers. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please keep us updated and let us continue to pray with you.

Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you in prayer right now in this anxious time of waiting. It is understandable to feel fear rising when the one you love should be home and cannot be reached, and your heart is troubled.

Scripture shows us that fear often comes when we take our eyes off the Lord and fix them on the problem in front of us. Remember Peter when he stepped out on the water to go to Jesus. While he looked to Jesus he walked, but when he looked at the wind and the waves fear took hold and he began to sink. In the same way David could say though I walk through the valley of death I will fear no evil for you are with me. Remembering that the Lord is present with you and with your husband is the cure for fear. Fear and faith cannot live together in the same heart. Where faith is strong, fear must leave, and where fear takes over, faith is pushed aside. Ask the Lord to help you choose faith in this moment by remembering who He is, that He sees you, loves you, and is able to keep your husband in His care.

That does not mean you do nothing. It is wise and prudent to take calm, sensible steps, but not steps driven by panic. If you have not already, you may try contacting his workplace or a coworker or supervisor to see if he was held over or had to stay, keep your phone nearby, and let a trusted family member or friend know you are waiting so you are not alone. Do what is responsible and then rest the outcome in God's hands rather than letting fear drive you.

God also teaches that reverence for Him is the beginning of wisdom, and that reverence means hating evil and trusting His goodness. You can bring your distress to Him honestly. The Bible invites us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer to let our requests be made known to God, and His peace which passes understanding will guard your hearts.

Waiting is hard, but waiting on the Lord means trusting His timing and His power to work even when we cannot see. He is patient and faithful, and He hears the prayers of His people.

Let me pray for you both.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for this wife and her husband. You see where he is and You know his condition. We ask for Your hand of protection over him, to keep him safe from harm and to bring him home. We ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind right now, to quiet fear and to fill her with faith and confidence in Your presence. Help her to keep her eyes on You and to trust You while she waits. Give wisdom for any calls she needs to make and bring clear answers soon. We thank You that You are near to those who call on You and that You care for this marriage and this family. In Jesus name, Amen.

Keep praying and keep trusting. If you receive news, or if you continue to need prayer, please let us know so we can continue to stand with you.
