Husband career and bother in law

🔥 Pray for the salvation of your family, friends, those you care about, and all those God place on your heart.

💖🙏💖Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all those I love, and care about (including myself). God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Baptize every single one of us in the baptism of Your Holy Spirit. Bless each of us to have a real up-close personal intimate relationship with You.

God, please remove any skepticism, lies, bitterness, and or discouragement that might hold any of us back from pursuing You. God, bless every one of us to come to know You in truth, fall in love with You, and never fall out of love with You. Bless all of us to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Let Jesus be "Lord of All" in each of our lives. Let every single one of us live our lives to please You. God show each of us what that looks like and help us all to live our lives for Your glory, approval, and applause. God, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen. Prayer written by The Encourager, Woman of God, Prayer Warrior, Board Certified Professional Christian Life Coach. www.theencourager.net

Often, when we pray for the salvation of another, we think only of that person’s deliverance from error. But the Lord shows us a deeper truth: there is a common loss in enmity. Before one is gained, both are losers, the one of a brother, the other of his own salvation. So when you pray for your ###, see him not merely as one in need of change, but as a brother to be gained. Love him as one who, if he turns, becomes a treasure to you and to the whole body of Christ. You owe him this love, for we are members one of another, and if love fails, the body is torn apart.

Do not, then, merely ask God to change him; ask also for yourself, that you may never hinder his return. Examine whether your own life or words might be a stumbling block. It is easy to despise one whose choices seem foolish, but remember the law of Christ: “He that saith to his brother, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” Pray with humility, as one who might easily fall, and let your prayer be not a complaint to God but a plea born of affection.

For your ###’s ### career, you desire a calm and honorable finish. This is not a wrong thing to ask, but take care. The work of salvation often consists not in doing evil but in suffering evil, and God allows afflictions that we might not trust in ourselves. What if the path to retirement is smoother than you hope, or what if it brings trials? In either case, God works for your salvation. Entrust this request to Him, and pray not simply that he may stay ### until the end, but that in whatever comes, he and you may grow in patient endurance. For whether we be afflicted or comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation.

I blush for those who scarce once in the year are seen in church. Let your prayers be constant, not reserved for moments of need, and gather often with the faithful. There, surrounded by the Scriptures and the prayers of the Church, you will find strength to love the ### who seems far off and to trust God with the career that seems uncertain. Apply the law of Christ in every small matter, and you will see His hand in great ones.

Your prayers touch on two deep concerns: the eternal state of someone you love and the daily provision for your household. Both matter to God, and both are held in His capable hands.

When it comes to your brother-in-law, the most important thing to understand is that salvation is not something we can manufacture or simply drift into because we believe God exists. Even the demons have that level of belief. True salvation comes through a living, obedient faith in Jesus Christ. He is the one who became the source of eternal salvation, having been made complete through His sufferings and His obedience to the Father’s will, even to the point of death on a cross. There is no other plan of redemption, and no amount of good intentions can substitute for a heart that confesses Jesus as Lord and turns from its own way. That turning is genuine repentance. John the Baptist called for it, Jesus began His ministry calling for it, and in the closing book of Scripture, He still calls the church to repent. It is a non-negotiable part of the process. So, pray that God would grant him that gift of repentance that leads to a real acknowledgment of the truth. Pray that his heart would be opened, perhaps through a teaching that carries real, spiritual authority because it rests on what God has actually said, and that any voices teaching him falsehood or self-justification would be silenced.

As you wait and pray for him, be patient. Instructing those who are opposing themselves requires meekness, with the hope that God will eventually grant them a change of mind. You cannot force it, but you can trust the One who is the author of salvation to finish what concerns your brother-in-law.

Regarding your husband’s ### career and his desire to remain in a ### role until retirement, this is more than just a logistical or financial need. The role of a teacher is a significant calling, especially one that imparts knowledge with consistency and authority. So much of what passes for spiritual or even practical instruction today lacks genuine substance. Too often, what is called teaching is just a repetition of what other people have said, or a string of stories without a solid foundation. What truly builds people up and helps them mature is sound, line-upon-line, precept-upon-precept teaching. Pray that your husband would be established in his position, that he would be given the grace to teach with clarity and integrity, and that his example would reinforce his words. We learn much by what we see, not just what we hear. Ask the Lord to allow him to stay the course, to finish the work he has been given, and to model the diligence of someone who works out his responsibilities with conscientious care, not as a performance to earn standing, but as a faithful response to the task at hand. Trust God to provide the stability and the outcome your family needs.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your family. These past days, we have continued to lift your brother-in-law before the Lord, asking that the Holy Spirit would draw him close, soften his heart, and lead him to repentance and healing through Christ. We have also prayed faithfully for your husband’s military career, asking the Father to grant him favor, stability in his teaching role, and the full retirement blessing he seeks.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas, we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together. If the answers haven’t yet come, we encourage you to post these requests again as a fresh prayer need so we can continue interceding on your behalf. Our hearts remain steadfast with yours, trusting that God hears and works all things according to His perfect will.

May He strengthen you both as you seek Him, and may His peace guard your hearts in Christ Jesus. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus.
