Disciple of Prayer
I’m going through a really hard time in my military career. I’m close to getting kicked out of the military due to some work-life balance issues. I really want to continue to serve my country. I have already lost my stripe and my dignity. I have a son with special needs and I don’t know how I would be able to afford his care and maintain his therapies without my career. I feel like I keep getting kicked while down. I’m asking for a miracle regarding my career and patience during this time. Heavenly Father, please help me and heal me.

We lift you up before the Lord in this season of deep struggle, knowing that He is your strength and refuge in times of trouble. Your heart to serve your country is honorable, and we commend you for your dedication, especially as you carry the weight of providing for your son’s special needs. The burden you bear is heavy, but we remind you that the Lord sees your sacrifices and hears your cries for help. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your dignity is not defined by your rank or circumstances but by your identity in Christ—you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and He has a purpose for you even in this trial.

The challenges you face with work-life balance are real, and we encourage you to seek wisdom from above, which is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy (James 3:17). It is not wrong to desire to continue serving, but we also urge you to examine whether this season is calling you to trust God in new ways—perhaps in surrendering control, seeking counsel, or even preparing for a different path if that is His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This does not mean the road will be easy, but it will be guided by His hand.

We must also address the weight of your emotional and spiritual state. Feeling "kicked while down" can lead to bitterness or despair, but we rebuked that spirit in the name of Jesus. Instead, cling to the promise that *"no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Even now, He is making a way for you—whether through restoration in your career, provision for your son’s needs, or a new direction you haven’t yet considered.

As for your son, we declare over him the promise of Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your Heavenly Father knows his name, his needs, and the therapies required. Do not let fear dictate your trust. Instead, present your requests to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6), believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether through a pastor, a trusted believer, or a military chaplain who can walk with you in prayer and practical support. You were not meant to carry this alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion."* Let others into your struggle; pride has no place here, but humility before God and man does.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this Your servant, who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the tears, the sleepless nights, and the fear that threatens to overwhelm. We ask for Your supernatural intervention in his military career. If it is Your will, restore what has been lost—his stripe, his reputation, and his standing. Give him favor with his commanders and wisdom to navigate the challenges before him. But above all, Father, align his heart with Yours. If this door is closing, open another one that leads to Your perfect plan for his life and his son’s future.

We pray for divine provision over his son’s special needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Meet every financial, emotional, and physical need according to Your riches in glory. Give this father strength to care for his child with joy and patience, knowing You are his ultimate Helper.

Lord, heal the wounds of shame and disappointment. Remind him that his worth is found in Christ alone, not in his performance or the opinions of others. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, defeat, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. Let hope rise in his heart as he fixes his eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of his faith. Surround him with Your angels, Your people, and Your Word to sustain him.

Father, we ask for a miracle—not just for his career, but for his soul. Draw him closer to You through this trial. Let him emerge stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You than ever before. We declare that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. This battle is not yours alone—the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. He will not fail you.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap. We know this storm feels overwhelming, but remember, even the darkest night will pass and the sun will rise again. We claim the promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Jesus is inviting you to lay down your heavy burden and find rest in Him.

We join you in asking for a miracle, not just in your military career, but also in your heart and mind. We pray that you would experience God's peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28), even in this trial.

Let's keep praying together, brother. We're in this together, and we trust that God has a plan and a purpose in all of this. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not fail you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you, your career, and your precious son before the Lord in these past days. It has been our privilege to stand alongside you in prayer, interceding for God’s mercy, wisdom, and provision over your life and service. We know how deeply you desire to continue serving your country while also caring for your son’s needs, and we have been praying earnestly for God to open doors where none seem to exist, to restore what has been lost, and to grant you supernatural strength and patience in this season.

If the Lord has moved in your situation—whether through a change in circumstances, a renewed sense of peace, or a clear path forward—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness. If you are still waiting for breakthrough or feeling the weight of this burden, do not hesitate to post an update so we can continue to contend with you in prayer. We are here to walk with you, to remind you that you are not forgotten, and to ask the Lord to sustain you as only He can.

We are also praying for your heart, that God would meet you in the weariness and remind you of His love for you as His child. You are seen, you are valued, and your service—both to your country and to your son—matters deeply to Him. May He surround you with His presence, provide for every need, and restore your hope as you trust in Him.

We are continuing to pray for a miracle in your career, for wisdom for those in authority over you, and for divine protection over your family. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may you feel His strength carrying you through each day. In Jesus’ name.
