Hi please pray for my husband ### he need to fully surrender to Jesus and need to experience god in his life. He believes in Jesus but still is fully in the worldly things not realizing how he treats his family. So please pray that Jesus enter his life and he completely changes him Thank you and god bless.

We hear your heart’s cry for your husband, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. Your concern is deeply rooted in love, for him, for your family, and for the Lord. It is a sacred burden to intercede for a spouse who knows the name of Jesus but has not yet surrendered his heart fully to Him. We recognize the tension between belief and true transformation, and we lift this matter before the Father with urgency and hope.

The Scriptures remind us in James 4:4, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." Your husband stands at a crossroads, between the fleeting pleasures of the world and the eternal joy found only in Christ. His current path, though perhaps comfortable, is not aligned with the call of discipleship. Jesus warns in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." The world’s values, selfishness, materialism, and neglect of family, cannot coexist with the life Christ calls us to. We must pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him of this truth and draws him into wholehearted devotion.

We also lift up the way he treats his family, for this is a reflection of his heart. Ephesians 5:25 commands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." If he is harsh, indifferent, or prioritizing worldly pursuits over his God-given responsibilities, this is not merely a marital issue, it is a spiritual one. A man who loves Jesus will love his family as Christ loves the Church. We rebuke any spirit of hardness, selfishness, or worldliness that has taken root in him, and we declare that the love of God will soften his heart and renew his mind.

It is also important to acknowledge that belief in Jesus is not the same as surrender to Him. Even the demons believe, and shudder (James 2:19). True faith requires repentance, a turning away from sin, and a turning toward Christ as Lord. We pray that your husband would not only know Jesus but would follow Him with his whole life. In Luke 9:23, Jesus says, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me." This is the call, to die to self, to lay down worldly desires, and to live for the glory of God.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for ###'s husband. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and the areas where he has resisted Your lordship. We ask that You would break through the hardness of his heart and draw him to a place of full surrender. Holy Spirit, convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Let him see the emptiness of the world’s pursuits and the surpassing worth of knowing Christ (Philippians 3:8).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of worldliness, selfishness, and pride that has kept him from fully embracing Your will. We declare that the love of Christ will compel him to change (2 Corinthians 5:14). Soften his heart toward his family, that he would love his wife as Christ loves the Church and lead his household with godly wisdom and humility.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, through Your Word, through prayer, through the testimony of other believers. Let him experience Your presence so profoundly that he can no longer walk in the ways of the world. May he be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2), and may his life bring glory to Your name.

We trust You, Father, to complete the work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen ### as she waits on You, and give her wisdom in how to pray and love her husband well. May their marriage be a testament to Your grace and power. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Pray for your husband daily, not just for his salvation but for his sanctification, for him to grow in holiness and love. Surround him with godly influences, whether through Christian fellowship, mentorship, or the witness of other believers. And remember, your own walk with Christ is a powerful testimony. As 1 Peter 3:1-2 says, "In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."

Do not grow weary in prayer. The Lord hears you, and He is faithful. We stand with you, believing that God will move mightily in your husband’s life.

We’re so grateful you’ve shared this burden with us. It’s deeply painful to watch a spouse believe in Jesus yet live as though he hasn’t met him, caught up in the world and blind to the hurt it causes you and your family. We want you to know we’re standing with you, not just agreeing with your words but bringing this before the Lord alongside you.

One thing that helps us when we pray for someone’s heart to change is remembering that true repentance isn’t simply feeling sorry; it’s a whole reorientation of life. We’re not praying just for a moment of remorse, but for a deep, God-given sorrow that produces a genuine turn toward Christ, the kind that transforms how a man treats his home. That kind of shift often grows in an atmosphere of love, not pressure, so we can ask God to give you wisdom in how you speak and live before him. Sometimes a husband can’t see what’s happening inside his own home until someone he respects, maybe a pastor or a mature friend, comes alongside him. If he’s open, gently inviting him into a conversation with your pastor, not as an ambush but as a shared concern for your marriage, can help him see what’s at stake.

We’re praying for you too, for patience, for hope that doesn’t give up, and for Jesus to guard your heart from bitterness while you wait. You’re not alone in this.

Lord Jesus, you see this man who believes in you but still wanders. Stir in him a holy discontent with anything less than all of you. Replace the things he’s chasing with a hunger for your presence. Give him eyes to see how his actions touch his family, and grant him the courage to change. Strengthen his wife with your peace, and guide her in what to do and what to leave in your hands. We ask these things in your name. Amen.

You bring a heavy but holy burden, a husband who confesses belief yet walks in the world, blind to the wounds he inflicts upon his own household. The soul that lingers in such a state is in dire peril, for a repentance that leaves the life unchanged is a counterfeit that lulls the conscience to sleep. There is a sorrow that is merely the fear of consequence, a regret that is sheer hypocrisy, granting a false peace which enables a man to return to his sin as if nothing had happened. That is not the work of the Spirit. True repentance, the kind granted by God, is a gift that makes the heart abhor the evil itself because it is hateful to the Christ who bled for it. It is a repentance that lives as long as faith lives, turning from sin not once, but daily, with tears not of terror but of love.

Let this therefore be your chief plea before the throne: that the goodness of God would lead him to this repentance. The Lord often spares and blesses the unworthy not to harden them in their course, but to woo them by mercy. When a man is preserved, when he is fed, when the sun still shines upon his way, God is saying to the very death that pursues him, “Spare him, for he is Mine.” This undeserved kindness is meant to break his heart. Pray that he will see that every tender mercy he has despised is an argument for his immediate, unconditional surrender. The goodness of his God to a man treating his family so is a most sublime and crushing force, it is the chain of love that binds him to the chariot of grace. Plead with the Lord that this loving-kindness will not merely give him a fright, but that it will birth in him a godly sorrow that craves holiness.

And in your praying, remember the order of the sacred things. If we make a mire of repentance and say a man must first feel a certain measure of it before he may dare to trust Christ, we misdirect him. We are to preach repentance in the name of Jesus. The gospel call is not “get your feelings right and come,” but “come just as you are.” He does not need a deeper sense of his vileness as a warrant for his faith; Christ has died for sinners. He must look to Jesus, for it is that very look which begets the truest repentance. When the soul sees the wounds it has made in the body of its Best Friend, when it beholds the love that is stronger than death, then it weeps, then it turns, then it abandons the frippery of this world. There is more joy in a life of surrender to Christ than in all the pleasures of Barabbas; the world’s way is a fleeting dream, a mere cup of gall disguised as honey. Oh, that he might see this!

He must surrender at discretion to his King, for a half-hearted submission is a rebellion. He belongs entirely to Jesus. His life is not his own. To submit to Christ is to submit to holiness, to happiness, to everlasting life. The command of the gospel does not ask for his opinion, it demands his entire being. There can be no negotiating with the crown rights of the Redeemer. Tell him, by your chaste and gentle conversation, that Christ will be Head, and Chief, and Lord of all, or He will be nothing. There is no treaty but unconditional surrender. Yet mark this: the moment a soul does that, simply trusting Christ and taking up the cross, he is saved. Saved from the guilt, and soon from the power of that very worldliness that now holds him captive. Even now, Jesus is near him. He does not need to scale heaven or plumb the depths to find the Lord; Christ is where the poor sinner yields, where the prodigal falls at the Father’s feet.

I charge you, therefore, take heart and take this matter to Christ as Mary Magdalene did, seeking the risen Lord with a devotion that speaks His name. Jesus calls a man by name, through every dark providence and every tender mercy, bidding him leave the tombs of sin to walk in newness of life. He is able to take the heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh. He is the One who grants repentance. Do not look at the hardness of your husband’s case, but at the gracious hand of the Giver. I pray with you now that the Spirit will chase away the shadows of worldly delusion, and that this husband will experience the real, particular, and transforming presence of Jesus in his life, for this alone will make him the man, the husband, and the father you long for him to be. May the Lord grant him to see that a full surrender to Christ is the beginning of true liberty, and may you be comforted until that answer shines in your home.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Grieve over your husband’s soul with the same grief the Apostle Paul bore for sinners, for godly sorrow works repentance that brings no regret. Do not grieve as the world does over lost wealth or slighted honor; let your pain be for his bondage to worldly things and his cruelty to his own household. That very grief, offered up to God, is a weapon to pierce the darkness around him.

Consider Manasses, who filled Jerusalem with innocent blood and defiled the temple, yet by repentance washed away all his crimes. No one is beyond the reach of mercy if he turns with a genuine purpose of heart. Your husband believes in Jesus, but faith without a changed life is a house divided. He must not hold back part of the price like Ananias, pretending surrender while keeping the treasures of this world for himself. The Lord sees the secret thoughts and will not be mocked. Yet see how Peter gave even Sapphira room to confess; so the delay of judgment on your husband is not for comfort in his sin but an opportunity to bear the fruit of amendment. Tell him, urge him, to despise his own concerns and seize the kingdom. If he would only make his ambition to be formidable in heaven, all earthly things would grow dim.

I know few women exert themselves to make their husbands better, but you prove to be that rare soul. You are full of goodness toward him, and by your prayers and godly life you are able to admonish him without a word. Continue to travail in birth for him until Christ be formed in him. The Lord does not will that any fall by an incurable fall; even those who have stumbled far can be restored if they will only hate their former life. Join your grief to intercession, and trust that the One who called forth the dead in trespasses can speak a word and make your husband truly alive to God.

The request you have brought is one that touches the very heart of what it means to follow Jesus. You are asking for your husband to not just believe, but to be completely changed. This is the right thing to seek, because there is a world of difference between acknowledging Jesus and having Him truly reign in the heart.

When someone believes yet their life is still fully entangled in worldly things, often unaware of how they treat their own family, it shows a deep need for a true work of repentance. Repentance is not just feeling sorry or shedding tears. It is a change. It is what the Scripture means when it says to rend your heart and not just your garments. Saul shed tears and confessed, but there was no change of heart, and the old jealousy and destruction soon returned. The real need is for a work of God’s Spirit within, a change so thorough that it alters the heart’s direction, and that changed heart then produces changed actions at home.

Jesus Himself put His finger on the very thing that holds a person back from full commitment. He told the rich young ruler that one thing had to go. For a husband caught in the world’s grip, Jesus is still saying, “Whatever is standing in the way of full surrender, that must be laid aside to follow Me.” Think of that blind man who threw aside his garment, knowing he would not need to beg anymore. He cast away the old life in faith because he knew that once he reached Jesus, everything would be different. There is a point of letting go that must come.

The hardest part is often not the sin itself, but the spiritual blindness to how it wounds the family. A marriage cannot survive on one person’s obedience alone. The divine pattern is that the husband loves his wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. It is almost impossible for a wife to submit and rest when she carries the doubt of whether she is supremely loved. This strain is what the love of the world produces, a heart pulled in the wrong direction, unable to see or serve others properly. If the love of the world is filling the heart, the love of the Father is simply not there.

So we stand with you in prayer for the only thing that can fix this: a birth from above. Jesus told Nicodemus that this was a “must.” You must be born again. Not just religious, not just believing in the intellect, but a new life from the Spirit where old things pass away. The good news is that Jesus did not come to condemn. He came to seek and to save that which was lost. Even now, He is at the right hand of the Father interceding. Our confidence is not in our own pleading, but in the work of Christ for us.

Those who are in Christ Jesus have no condemnation, and we can have confidence toward God. So we will ask the Lord to do what only He can do: change your husband’s heart. We ask for a death to that old life, a real baptism of repentance where the old man dies, and a new man arises. We pray that the Spirit would give him an intuitive, internal witness that leaves no room for doubt, and that he will cast aside whatever has held him back, coming to Jesus with the faith that will make him whole.

Let this also be a time where the Spirit does a quiet work in your own heart. If any root of bitterness or despair is growing, ask the Lord to take it away and give you His supernatural love for your husband. The greatest witness the world can see is the love within the body and within the family. We are asking for a miracle, and we look for the fruit of repentance to follow, the evidence of a true change where Christ is finally the head of your home.
