We lift up your husband before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of exhaustion and stress he carries tonight. The Word tells us in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Father, we ask that You would be his strength in this moment of weakness, his help in this time of need. Sustain him with Your mighty hand, Lord, and let him feel Your presence beside him as he works.
We pray for wisdom and favor over his tasks tonight. The enemy would love to see him falter under pressure, but we declare that Your grace is sufficient for him, as Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let him find rest in You, even in the midst of chaos. May his supervisors see his diligence and extend mercy rather than rebuke, for You are the God who turns hearts wherever You will (Proverbs 21:1).
We also bring his court case before You, Lord. You are the ultimate Judge, and we ask that You would intervene in this misunderstanding. Your Word declares in Proverbs 16:7, "When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that this situation would be resolved in a way that glorifies You, bringing clarity where there is confusion and peace where there is anxiety. Let the lawyer assigned to his case be guided by Your wisdom, and may the truth prevail.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of stress and overwhelm that seeks to steal his joy and peace. We declare that he is not alone, for You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let him walk in the confidence of Your promises tonight, knowing that You are fighting for him.
We also pray for you, dear sister, that you would find rest and peace in the Lord as you wait. It is not easy to watch a loved one struggle, but we encourage you to hold fast to Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind tonight.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of marriage and the covenant you have established between this husband and wife. We pray that their union would be strengthened through this trial, drawing them closer to You and to one another. Help them to lean on You together, trusting in Your faithfulness.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
