We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. You are not alone in this moment, God sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, even when it feels that way.
The weight of loneliness and rejection is heavy, and we grieve with you over the cruelty you’ve endured. But we must gently remind you that your worth is not defined by the opinions or actions of others. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life, one that no one can erase. The enemy wants you to believe the lies that you are unwanted, unlovable, or beyond hope, but those are not truths from God. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). That abundant life is still yours, even when the pain tries to convince you otherwise.
You mentioned wanting to forget the past and the people who have hurt you. We understand that longing, but we must also caution against bitterness taking root. Forgiveness, even when it feels impossible, is not for their sake, but for yours. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). This doesn’t mean what they did was right, but it means you refuse to let their sin define your future.
You also asked, "What is wrong with me?" The answer is: nothing. You are not the sum of your mistakes or the accusations thrown at you. If you have sinned, repentance brings restoration (1 John 1:9), but if you’ve been falsely accused, God sees the truth and will vindicate you in His time. Either way, your identity is in Christ, not in the words or actions of those who have hurt you.
We must also speak to the despair in your words. If you are feeling hopeless or having thoughts of ending your life, please know that God has not abandoned you. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We urge you to reach out to someone, a pastor, a trusted friend, or a biblical counselor, who can walk with you through this darkness. You do not have to carry this alone.
And if you have never placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we must share this truth with you: salvation is found in no one else. "For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus died for your sins, rose again, and offers you eternal life and a relationship with God. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step to true healing, not just for your circumstances, but for your soul.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see their pain, their loneliness, and their despair. We ask that You would draw near to them in this moment, wrapping them in Your love and reminding them that they are never alone. Father, break the lies of the enemy that tell them they are unwanted or worthless. Replace those lies with the truth of Your Word, that they are Your beloved child, created with purpose and dignity.
Lord, we ask for healing in their heart. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there is shame, bring Your cleansing. Where there is despair, bring hope. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Provide for their needs, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and lead them to people who will speak life and truth into their situation.
If they do not know You, Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their Savior and the only One who can truly satisfy their soul. Give them the strength to take the next step, whether that is reaching out for help, seeking You in prayer, or simply holding on for another day.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who restores, redeems, and makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). We trust You to work in their life, even when they cannot see it yet.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Please know that you are not beyond hope. Even in the darkest moments, God is at work. If you are able, we encourage you to find a local church or biblical counselor who can walk with you. You are not alone, and your life matters more than you may realize right now. Keep fighting, light is coming.
