Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for prayer has been heard and we are joining you in bringing your daughter before the Lord in this fearful time of high fever and waiting for test results.
We know how heavy this waiting feels when a child is in the hospital and the word sepsis is spoken. We are asking God to be merciful to her, to calm her body, to bring down the fever, and to guide the hands and minds of the doctors and nurses who are caring for her.
In the Scriptures we see the Lord Jesus touch those burning with fever and the fever left them at once, and He restored them to full health in a way no human physician could accomplish on his own. We remember also the royal official whose son was healed when Jesus spoke, and his servants met him to say the fever had left the child at the very hour Jesus had spoken. Jesus remains the same excellent physician who first tasted the medicine of our suffering Himself and now offers healing and presence to His people. He has power both to heal and to sustain, and nothing is beyond His care.
We also remember that faith itself has great power before God. As one mother came pleading for her daughter and her great faith was honored, so we come pleading for yours, trusting not in our worthiness but in His compassion.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we lift this precious daughter to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know her body, You see her fever, You know the cause of her illness. We ask You to have mercy, to rebuke this infection, to bring healing to her blood and strength to her body. Give wisdom to her medical team, give clarity in every test, and guide every treatment. Grant peace to her parents and family, guard their hearts from fear, and remind them that You are near and that You hear the prayers of those who call on You. Whatever Your will, draw this family closer to You and let them know Your comfort and sustaining grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our life and our salvation. Amen.
